    Goodwill was found in 1902 by Boston Minister, Reverend Edgar J. Helms. He took donations from…read morewealthy Bostonians and hired people who were poor but who could fix the items. They were then given to the people who worked on them or were resold. Goodwill's philosophy is "a hand up, not a hand out". Today Goodwill has become a $5 billion nonprofit organization that provides job training, employment, and community programs for people who have disabilities that might prevent them from getting a job on their own. This seems like an older store. Some of the stores I have been in lately have had new merchandise and a large Halloween section. This store seemed smaller than other stores I have visited and they only had one rack of Halloween items. It was not anything like the stores on the west coast of Florida that can rival Spirit Halloween with their array of costumes. I think someone in this store has been watching Getting Organized with the Home Edit on Netflix because the clothes were organized in the rainbow color scheme that Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin champion. Everything was organized nicely but there wasn't anything for me today. Prices also seemed kind of high compared to other thrift stores in the area. It was a miss for me but I might have just visited on an off day.
