Ok, so I had no idea what I was in for, but you don't know until you go, that is if err, you're a "Member". See this is a Member's ONLY Post, not a "bar", and you can only go if you're not a Member if you are invited as a guest, and you have to sign in! American Legion members are all US Military veterans. That is Army, Navy, Marines, you name it. And let me tell you the older men here are quite frisky and aggressive to see the "young ones" out and about. They will talk your ears off about how the Est. works and how proud they are to be a part of it. But really I have never been more welcomed into a group of strangers in a Member's ONLY 'Post' that also fed me - potluck style of course! They also have a NEW Jager tap machine, I say go, it's worth it, and may the war stories begin, that - or you might be approached by men your grandpa's age, perhaps inebriated, but they are harmless . read more

I decided to renew my membership mostly because of this post. Taco Tuesdays, friendly atmosphere, etc.

Ok, so i left on a deployment for a year and came back thinking the Legion would be the same but I decided to give it another shot. The atmosphere has definitely taken a turn for the better. Patrons and members seem happier, more positive and there have been some good changes. Im going to keep it at 3 stars in hopes more changes are made but I definately give 5 stars to the Ladies of the Auxillary who run Taco Tuesday. You must come by on a Tuesday night and get fantastic 1 dollar Tacos. They are amazing. You wont be disappointed. Talk to you soon Yelpers ! read more

I went last month for the $12 steak dinner and it was scrumptious and so big that my leftovers lasted fro 2 more meals. Huge steak, the baked potato must have come from a Miracle Grow garden it was so huge. Nice salad bar, friendly happy lady bartenders. Plenty of room to eat in comfort. They collect food for the local food bank. Nice, friendly and I'm going back! Karoke KJ was great, lots of laughter and great voices. read more
