HIGHLY RECOMMEND American Made and Patrick for any remodel job big or small. Patrick and his crew did an absolutely superb job for me from start to finish. I'm talking absolutely exceptional and far above standard customer service, communication, logical suggestions and recommendations, quality of work both structurally and in surface finishes. Patrick came out in a timely fashion to bid the job and was prompt in submitting that job bid to me. He then followed up on the bid and really worked with me very patiently and with genuineness of heart to make sure I'm completely satisfied. He appeared on the job site several times a day, made sure everything was perfect, called me by phone every day with an update or discussion if I wasn't at the site, and had his crew work long hours and through an entire weekend to make sure everything was finished quickly and with minimal, if any, disruption to my business. As for his crew of workers, all I can think is that Patrick handpicks these guys to fit his mantra of excellent customer service. Each and every worker is polite, responsive, and literally does nothing but aim to please. These guys converted the most hideous-looking (old gas station) waiting room and office at my Meineke auto shop into a modern-day and inviting customer lounge. (Please see pictures). Words don't begin to express the phenomenal transformation and magic that Patrick and his crew made happen. When the handyman I've used for years moved to Central California, I turned to total strangers for bids on this job... very frightening. Others either completely flaked on getting me a bid or said they can't handle the job, suggesting I call a general contractor. But not Patrick; he took the bull by the horns and literally got the job done, and at a very fair price. I have found my new go-to guy for jobs big or small. For those of you on Yelp who have mentioned that Patrick looked at you a little funny when describing what you wanted done, let me just say this... There were one or two aspects of my project where I had ideas about what I wanted done that turned out to be a little crazy on my part. Patrick, in his professional opinion, offered alternatives. I was seeking a contractor for some time to complete a kitchen remodel. I scheduled consultations with several other contractors who would schedule an appointment, never show up or show up and never solidify a quote or if they were able to complete the job. I came across American Made (Patrick's business card). I gave him a call and he was prompt with a response, scheduled a consultation and actually showed up at the time scheduled. Once the work started Patrick made sure to speak with me and update me along the way of the project. Everyday he would let me know what they would be working on for that day. He showed up everyday on time, sometimes before I was available but I definitely appreciated his promptness. He definitely provided some laughs along the way with his humble personality. He wasn't pushy although I was slow with my decision making and the project actually wrapped a day or two earlier than expected. I called American Made and spoke with Patrick. He seemed very nice....professional......and as I explained the bath remodel he seemed like he was ready to go on it. Made an appointment... done. When Patrick arrived I brought him to the bathroom and explained what I needed done. As I was talking he was on his phone.....I'm assuming he was taking notes on what I was saying. This is the rub...as I was explain my wants and needs in the bathroom he kept on making a disgusted look like as if what I was saying was stupid.....or that what I had had already done was wrong. As A matter of fact and to my point when I took him to the hallway and showed him what I need finished he looked at me confused. Getting more irritated by the second by his mannerisms and his disgusted facial expressions...I stopped and asked him what his confusion was with what I needed.......Patrick then informed me that HE would not have done it that way and as far as he is concerned he didn't understand why I didn't want him to just tear all the molding down. I explained to him that is the way I had it installed and the way it was supposed to be and if you look through out the rest of the house you could see the finished product. He didn't even look.....his demeanor was disgust. He asked for my email address and said he would send me an estimate the next day....as he walked out my door so fast ......I knew I would never hear from him again. And I haven't. That was 3 weeks ago. Rude, insulting and very disrespectful! Questioned everything I wanted done or had already had done. Absolute NIGHTMARE!!!!! PS.....to the persons who posted he over bid your job....he probably did so purposely.....he outbid himself out of your job because he didn't want the job. From start to finish my experience with American made was very pleasant. First of all I submitted a quote request for a stucco repair job and Patrick responded promptly. He quoted me just by sending him pictures of the job. He was very decently priced and accommodating with his scheduling. My husband stayed home from work the day of the job, they text me when they were on their way and arrived timely. The communication was awesome! Although my husband was home Patrick still took the time to text me and keep me posted as to what the final price would be. The customer service they provide is great and the work they do is also. My husband inquired about other repairs and some renovations we would like to do around our home and we will more than likely use their services. I found American Made through a family member who recommended them to remodel our master bathroom after our previous shower-pan leaked and we had to demo a good portion of it anyway. Patrick was an excellent contractor to work with. He communicates well. He is very straight forward and honest with his opinions and advice. While I suppose that could rub someone the wrong way, I found it very helpful as I valued his experience. He offered a good balance of input while still accomplishing our goals with the project. He made what was otherwise a very daunting experience, much easier to manage and accomplish. The quality and workmanship of the American Made team is quite good and pricing is reasonable. I even nitpicked a couple things around the end of the project and Patrick was sure to address all of my minor gripes where other contractors would have ignored them. Working with a quality team/company is worth a lot more to us than saving a few bucks on a cheap contractor only to regret it later. American Made is absolutely worth it. Patrick and Gustavo worked as a great team in performing much needed home improvement! My waterfall is running great, stucco repairs look good as new, and my ceiling fans are now secured properly. Owner very rude and unwilling to provide an estimate at 5:30pm on a weekday. My husband works full-time and is unable to get off work earlier than 5pm. Patrick was very short and ended call after stating "well I only work Monday thru Friday 8am to 4:30pm. I don't work weekends". This is unfortunate since his business was referred to us by my husband's co-worker. We will not be doing business with someone that is not willing to compromise on the simple task of an estimate. Wow! Just saw American Made website and noticed the Christian fish logo - my Pastor always warns that those placing this logo on their website does not mean that they are true Christians. You would think that would be a big enough job for a "handyman', but he mostly spoke about his commercial jobs.
