If I could give a zero, I would. I hired the team to "deep clean" a new house I purchased from an older couple before moving in. They did a cursory job at best. I found the girls hadn't cleaned/wiped out ANY of the drawers or cupboards. The back of the house smelled like a urinal; at first I thought it was a septic problem. Not sure why, but I shined a black light into the bathroom. Turns out the entire bathroom floor was covered in old, caked urine from behind the toilet to the door frame. While it was truly disgusting, it proved the cleaning crew hadn't cleaned the bathroom! ~$400 later and I had to clean the entire house myself from the baseboards to the window sills. my son hired this agency. it was the worst service I have ever experienced. not the worst cleaning service, the worst service. The job they did with 3 people there for 2 hrs honestly, it was horrible. When my son complained to them she sent a text to him stating that obviously I had not cleaned in 2 years and I was living in filth. The picture of that clean bathroom above was not a room they even cleaned! I have documentation to support every word I'm saying, and that text ! Horrible!!! I called yesterday and talked to Felicia just to confirm the appointment I made 2 weeks ago. She told me they would be at my house today at 9:30 am to clean. No one ever showed up. I have called 3 times, sent a text message and still no word. Super unprofessional! Never even got a chance to see how they clean, but I'm done with American Maid in Prescott. read more

Based on several good reviews, I decided to give American Maid in Prescott a shot. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the service I received. I made my first appointment and was told two women would come and it would take about 2 hours. One woman showed up and told me there was a mix-up, but the other woman would be there in 20 minutes or so. A hour and a half later the other woman finally showed up. The first woman was friendly, but since she was by herself at first, the cleaning took much longer than I was promised (my house isn't very big by the way). Once the second woman arrived, she and the first lady spent most of their time complaining and gossiping. Once they were done they spent 10 minutes smoking (and presumably complaining/gossiping) in my driveway before they finally left. I'm a pretty laid back, easy-going guy, but my house is my sanctuary and that certainly wasn't respected by their negative vibes. I decided to give the company another shot and scheduled a second appointment. Again, I was assumed I was getting two women and only one showed up. When I opened the door to greet her I got hit with a strong odor of cigarette smoke. Shame on me for even letting this person in my home, but I did. She did apologize for the smell and doused herself in Febreeze (which made her smell like chemicals AND cigarettes instead). Again, because it was only one person, it took her over 3 hours to clean my small house. She also spent 20-30 minutes talking on the phone (loudly) - gossiping and complaining. The owner did call and text me to apologize, but after two bad experiences, I was done with this company. Hire them at your own risk! read more

Kim was the Best cleaning person I have ever used. She is the owner of the company and it shows. She really cares about what she is doing for the customer. I had just bought a house and had her come on the day we got it to touch it up after having been on the market and everybody walking through. The house looked great to me as it had been remodeled and cleaned for the open house. The wife thought it didn't need anything. Once Kim and 2 of her people got there and started cleaning the difference was Amazing. They thoroughly cleaned the kitchen, inside the cupboards, inside the drawers, the fridge looked so clean inside it was incredible. The house had brand new wood looking floors that looked new and clean. Kim came and got me and showed me in the sunlight how there was a film-haze on there from the last cleaners not using the right product. She mopped it 3 times to get the haze off. You should See the floor now. WOW what a difference!! They look GREAT. Another thing that was different was they didn't leave until the job was completely finished. It was a Friday afternoon and it got to be past 5, which is when I contracted her for, and they kept going until everything was cleaned and done right. When do you ever find a company that cares that much about doing the job right these days. Thank you Kim... Kim brought all of her own cleaning supplies and equipment. She has 30 years of cleaning experience and knows and recommended what products to use where. I was so impressed and happy about her work that I now use her every time I need something cleaned. My first impression of their work was extremely unsatisfactory. After a heated conversation that I must apologize for, the owner sent over a guy to smooth things over. Devin arrived 2-3 hours after calling and was more than helpful. He did the work that was asked of him and showed a great amount of professional skill. The worst cleaning service...I feel like I was taken advantage of. I payed $300 for a complete house clean out and ended up redoing everything myself. There were 5 workers including Kimberly and they could not complete a two bedroom duplex. They broke a bulb on my chandelier in the dining room and left it. They scrubbed the paint off of the base decks. This whole business and the pictures online is a fraud. I am seeking further action Kimberly and you should be ashamed of yourself. She is the operator and owner of Maid in America, and I watched her throw my stove tops on the carpet in a fit of rage, and this was in front of my children.This operation is beyond unprofessional and I hope this will aid others to not be swindled like I was. Three hundred dollars is a lot of money for my family to dish out and she refused to do what I asked. I have pictures to prove the job was not done. When Kimberly was confronted about the job done she hung up on me and refused to respond. If the job was not completed, I believe I deserve at least half of my money back. Kimberly never responded. All Kimberly could say was how dirty my place was, well is that not what you do for a living? Make peoples lives easier by cleaning their homes? I had to point out several things to her that her team missed or overlooked altogether.
