I shopped around to find the perfect lender for my first home. First I narrowed down the list to those with the most competitive rates then those who passed the personality test. I wanted somebody who knew their stuff, was confident yet humble, a perfectionist yet not arrogant, who wasn't eagerly adding up dollar signs on the commission/bonus, and took their time to explain this unchartered territory. Greg headed the pack when he made accommodations to meet me at a time convenient for my family, answered all my early/late calls & texts, didn't rush me, and I honestly thought he would have given me the shirt off his back if I asked (because he did offer to loan his fridge to me). He also explained stuff to me with pre-printed visual aides instead of just talking. When given the opportunity to bad mouth other competitors or members in the home buying process, he never did. You really can't go wrong with Greg unless someone has a way better rate out there. And even then, ask yourself if that guy/gal really cares about you the person. read more
