Neil walked us through every step of the process and was incredibly responsive. As first-time homebuyers, there were lots of things we didn't understand and Neil took the time to explain things clearly. We felt confident we were getting the best rates, and had the best team working hard for us. For reference - it took us FOUR days to get our loan "cleared to close" from the day our offer was accepted. We had a 14-day escrow period, and our loan was ready to close well in advance. That was an incredible feat by the Community First Mortgage team, and took a ton of pressure off of us with such an aggressive escrow timeline. We had gotten quotes from two other lenders and Rob beat them by so much, we even took a credit on the mortgage rate. And the funny thing is, one of the other lenders was the same company whom which Rob actually secured our great rate with. A true testament that his relationships and knowledge with lenders will get you the best rate. Also, don't buy into the big mortgage lender talking points.
