I spoke with Brandon McFarland, the owner and was impressed with his knowledge and skill. He not only repaired my hydraulic cylinder but put together a repair kit, at my request, should I decide to fix my next mishap myself! Regardless of how fast these people can change a tire, it'll may still take a bit for them to drive out to you. We were 20 minutes out of Waco and it took about 35-40 minutes for our person to show up. I'm not sure how many people actually work here since the person who took my call was also the person to come change our tire. I ended up having to ping him my location since I was having difficulty figuring out where exactly on the highway we were. He worked quickly, was knowledgeable about the situation, and was very friendly the entire time. When we were billed, he said he was an independent contractor so he negotiated the price with us. The total ended up being $75, which I think is pretty reasonable considering how quickly he worked and how much less expensive this was than calling a tow truck.

This guy, Jay or John, and I struck a deal for me to partner up with him…read more He had just sold his rollback and bought a tilt car trailer with a Tennessee plate and tried to use it with his half ton pickup and his barely running wrecker. I hooked his trailer to my 3/4 ton diesel and brought my nice Chevy wrecker to the table with the understanding that he would register my wrecker and put both on his commercial insurance. So I quit my day job and went on over to his office to get everything going. He proceeds to tell me he doesn't have the money to fulfill his promises but that if we run both my trucks all weekend we will get the money. Problem: my pickup isn't insured commercially and anything I would have towed wouldn't have been covered. Also, my wrecker isn't insured at all nor registered so anything I would have towed would have been uninsured or subject to impound. Either way, no good! Be cautious and check the registration and insurance before you let the cheapest guy in town handle your vehicle... There is a reason towing isn't cheap...
