I saw that she had marked them "pending" so I assumed it was for me. I messaged her before we left to drive from Draper to Ogden. When we were halfway there she marked them "sold". I was so confused, so I messaged her again. She still didn't respond. Then she told me that she sold them for $250. No apologies. Just an explanation to justify her deception. I would have sent a Venmo payment to hold them, but she wanted cash (to cheat the system like she cheated me). She has no integrity and very poor business ethics. I would not recommend buying from her or going to her business! She's a liar, too! She never responded to me until after we were on our way to pick up. She sold to the highest bidder!

The real find at Bountiful Antiques is their downstairs... Chairs ... lots and lots of antique chairs in oak, maple, elm, and cherry. Rocking chairs, school desks, carved wood chairs with wooden seats, bankers chairs with still plenty of swivel in them, caboose captains chairs, press backs. ladder backs ... even some antique wood baby high-chairs. The downstairs also yields some real nice rolltop desks, tiered tables, lamp tables, side tables, drum tables, and the rest. They've got plenty of beautiful vintage suitcases hanging from the rafters. Upstairs, you'll find gems ... albeit overpriced gems. Their expertise and greatest gems come in antique Victrolas. And, my personal fave, the old RCA Victor Phonograph with a big replica dog they used to use in ads (if you don't know, Google "Nipper the dog"). There's also quite a substantial collection of antique tools. But, again, back to the inability to touch anything. The difference between museum-hopping and antiqueing is antiquers are LOOKING TO BUY. And antiquers usually don't buy what they can't touch. But still, it's worth a visit. Great stuff here. Then on my next visit, I asked for a private lesson where I could design a copper bowl on my own and re-make my silver snake ring into a bracelet. The ring was gorgeous, but was a bit heavy for my finger. Now the beautiful light bracelet is just perfect! The abstract bowl I made is also very much to my style. But I certainly appreciated the technique Rene taught me in making the proper round bowl. Everyone in the shop is super nice, from the artist to front desk people, everyone is just warm and happy being. I highly recommend the classes in this place. So reasonably priced and so worth it!
