Brian and the crew @American Shine are outstanding in their work and customer care. I got my Cybertruck Beast wrapped there in Pure PPF Unicorn's Blood. You can do a magnification of my included picture and I defy you to find the SLIGHTEST of imperfection in their work. The pictures were taken almost 3 weeks after the install to demonstrate the superb meticulous care with which they applied the thermoplastic polyurethane protection film. It looks better than a paint job and self heals minor abrasions. I was concerned about the potential bubbling of the wrap and waited till now to ensure there were none. Ok, the job was pristine and exceeded my expectations BUT that wasn't the total story. Customer-centric interface is their premier positive attribute. From first contact to yesterday's final inspection, the team was always there to answer ALL my questions and assure me that I had made both an economical and prudent decision to protect the shell of my Cybertruck even down to the 3D effect of the badges which they installed between the truck surface and the wrap. Very neat and well done. If you are even THINKING if getting your vehicle wrapped, PLEASE do your self a favor you will never regret and stop by American Shine and talk to Brian about it. I went to the shop to have tint placed on my panoramic sunroof, and they did a shotty job and had to redo it. I was asked to come back two weekends later, only to find out that Ali had made a decision to remove the tint and not replace it. this decision was made without consulting me, and to my surprise when I went to have the tent, uninstalled and reinstalled, I was told they were only going to uninstall it and provide a refund. One of the employees contacted Ali via phone due to me requesting a copy of the invoice showing a refund for the removal of the job. Ali declined to provide a refund and an invoice showing that the tent had been removed. When I left their shop, the tent had been removed, however, they did not provide me the refund or receipt the refund going back into my account. If my account is not refunded by Monday morning, I will be consulting legal council. I will provide an update after Monday, September 15, 2025. read more

Amazing operation at American Shine - this is a highly professional company with the proper facilities, equipment, and trained staff to provide the best services around when it comes to detailing, ceramic coating, tint, PPF, etc! If quality and perfect installation is your top concern, don't take your vehicle anywhere else - take it from me and my horror story: I bought a brand-new truck and wanted to get Gtechniq Ultra Serum installed on it right away, so I did some googling and found a detailer closer to my house that offered the product. This detailer had great reviews online but only a handful on Google and Facebook... but since they were local I decided to give them a chance and hope that the few reviews they had were accurate. Long story short, I got my truck back with an absolute horrendous ceramic coating installation - it was shocking how bad it was. I had multiple areas around the truck where the coating was not wiped properly and resulted in cloudiness over top the paint, some as big as softballs (not exaggerating) - then I started looking closely and there were streak marks and swirls everywhere, plus the coating was not applied on every part of the paint as well as the installer got the coating on parts of my truck that shouldn't have had any (my tail light, rubber gaskets, etc). I had a pit in my stomach, having a brand-new truck that looked terrible and the fact that the product is very difficult to remove (9 year coating!). The original installer offered to fix it for free but, after he gave my truck back to me in that condition, I did not trust him to fix it correctly. I ended up looking for the best installer in the DMV and stumbled upon American Shine. I took my truck in and Brian, the owner, looked it over and couldn't believe how poorly the product was applied. He said he can fix it, it'll take way more work than if I had just brought them the truck first since they had to buff out and possibly wet sand off all the high spots before they could even begin... I skeptical and thought no way they are going to get it right but Brian was confident. It ended up costing me way more than it should have, which was no fault of American Shine - I had to pay for the labor to fix the mistakes of the previous installer and then have them re-apply the coating correctly. When I picked up my truck I was blown away, it looked like a showpiece. My paint was a mirror, perfect, amazing reflection, no cloudiness and no scratches or swirl marks. They correctly applied the ceramic coating into every nook and cranny that has paint. They didn't get it on anything that shouldn't have it. They cleaned up all the sloppiness of the first guy and then knocked it out of the park with their install. AMAZING. Seriously, if you care about your car do not go anywhere else!! These guys are the best. When I first got my car 2017 I got it coated to protect it and make washing easier. I brought it in last week to refresh the coating (second time) and get the windows tinted. Recently had my red Tesla Model 3 ceramic coated, tinted and PPF put on the bumper at ASD. Brian and Brian were fantastic to work with and the results speak for themselves. My husband and I just bought a new Audi S3 2018 in Vegas Yellow and were looking into getting the car wrapped and coated (ceramic coating) to make sure that the car kept its new car shine. We looked at a few places in the area, but we decided on SpeedFreak as they provide a wide assortment of services, which was very convenient to get the coating, window tints, and ceramic coating done together. Film: I believe we got the Suntek PPF wrapped only on the front end. The Audi S3 has a very intricate front end design that adds to complexities in the wrap. The coating has held up well and even after a harsh winter with much salt, the car is easy to clean and maintains its original gloss. Brought in a white Tesla M Y for ceramic coating. During the walk around the car Brian highlighted for me how his recommendations would improve the car's appearance. Left the car with him for a few days and was pleasantly surprised that he discovered some subpar work done by another outfit who fixed some curb rash on one of my wheels. Shows real attention to detail, which any car lover would appreciate. When I picked up the car after the coating was applied, I was amazed at the glossy wet look imparted by the coating. Really made it *pop* visually. Brian 2.0 reviewed all of the work done to add coatings to other surfaces: windshield now coated with the equivalent of rain-x on steroids. Talked about everything else BUT what I came there for - all in an entirely positive way I mean. These two guys just dont want to roll your car in, slap some pre cut aftermarket film on your car, and wave until you're around the corner and forgotten! Brian D & Brian L spent time talking with me about ME. They were curious about my passion for cars, Marine Corps time and of course my Service Dog - A huge conversation piece as it is anyway. Disappointing experience and I didn't even purchase any services from them. * I wanted to have three vehicles detailed, paint corrected and apply crystal serum ultra if Speedfreaks thought that would be the right option. * I drove 50 minutes one way on a Friday morning and when I arrived at 1130 no one was there. * Called the number on their web-site and asked Brain if I was at the correct location as the name of the company on the front door is not Speedfreaks Detailing. * Brian tells me yes I am at the right location, but no one will be there for an hour and can I come back later. * When tell him no, due to the fact that it took 50 minutes to get there. o His response was "that's too bad I should have called ahead to make an appointment for an estimate"...SERIOUSLY! o I was very surprised by this especially when one has a potential client that wants to drop a minimum of $ 3,000 (my estimate) o He then asks if I can come back on the weekend...which I had to decline as I have family matters to deal with on the weekends * I think I expected to much from this business because if I owned Speedfreaks I would have offered to come to my house to do the estimate by appointment * As we say in Car Sales I don't think Speedfreaks is "Hungry" * I am leaving this review to tell Yelp users that if you want estimate from this shop, be certain to call ahead to make an appointment. I have not had the experience of a new car for many years but know that the investment in paint correction and protection would offer the vehicle a lifetime of shine and reflection. SpeedFreak provided the necessary paint correction to get the new vehicle polished and looking good, they wrapped the front of the car with Suntek PPF, wrapped the flat glossy surfaces of the console inside of the vehicle with PPF and then applied GTechniq Crystal Serum Ultra to the entire exterior of the vehicle including the wheels. Windows were also tinted during this appointment. The result is stunning, it's hard to believe that a new vehicle can actually look better than the day it was delivered merely a week before. I brought in my S63 Amg to have a great deal of work done. I wanted the following: wrap removal, stage 3 paint correction, full detail, blackout and fix the lower bumper molding. They told me that the entire bumper would need to be replaced. Brian suggested going with something more aggressive but I wanted OEM. He said that he would check with his guy who does their body work Vincente Molina at Extraordinaries Customs & Collision. Well they tell me that they can only go with the front bumper that matches the Vin otherwise if it doesn't fit I would have to buy it. Now this is when I really started to question them as a company. Why would you suggest a more aggressive front bumper and then come back and say if it doesn't fit I would have to pay you for it and buy another? I thought you were a car shop that could fix this. I told them don't worry about it because I spoke with one of the best body shops and they suggested I get my car back because they are new guys and don't know what they are doing or talking about. Brian kept saying the bumper had to come from Mercedes (which is bull) he didn't know there are plenty of sites (big names) that help you match bumpers to vins and will allow you to send them back if there are issues. After agreeing to leave the bumper as is; I didn't hear from Brian for a week or so. I finally heard back from him (he was on vacation). I asked if the car was completed and he said almost. He had a question about blacking out some of the items on the car which I agreed to ($2500 grill, side of window frames, 4 door handles and lower side molding both sides). He asked if I wanted to replace the grill because the grill had some rock chips. I told him I didn't think it was necessary and to go ahead with the blackout. At the end of the week I received a call saying the car was ready. I picked up the car and it looked good. About a week or so later as I'm looking at the car in the garage I see that the alignment is off with the grill and hood. As I continue to look at the grill I see that it's coming off the car. I open the hood and see that the clips are all broken on the left side. I reached out to Brian and told him what I saw and he said he would have to touch base with his guy to find out what was going on (now at this point if you knew the clips were broken wouldn't you have known this when I called or even told me before you painted the grill?). I went up to the shop hoping to catch him before I headed out of town and Brian was out on vacation. However, Vincente was there. He looked at the car and said he has pictures that show they were broken. We exchanged numbers and he said he would send them to me (never received them). After a couple of weeks of traveling I headed up to the shop to figure out what they are going to do about the grill that they broke and they pretty much told me someone else broke them. They said the car was wrapped before and the bumper was damaged. I was completely confused, the bumper was not damaged (the lower molding slid and you could see the glue). They said if the car was brand new then they would "think about replacing it". They offered me 3 options : 1. Remount the grill with glue, 2. Free carwash up to $175 value 3. I buy a new grill, pay for painting and they would remount it for free. Brian and Vincente broke my grill and found out how much it cost and they don't want to pay for it. Brian had the nerve to tell me he didn't want to tell me that it was broken because he thought I didn't want to pay for it and that it was his fault. I got my new Tesla Model 3 covered in a serious amount of pine tree sap during a storm. I called American Shine and even though they were very busy as any good shop is, they didn't want to let the sap sit on my car and damage the paint so they squeezed me in the next day and stayed late after hours to finish the job. SpeedFreak Detailing is the best detailing shop in the area. I am very anal when it comes to taking care of my car so finding a good detail shop was very important to me. I met one of the partners John Perdue a few years ago and decided to give him a paint correction and cquartz polish job. He did such an outstanding job he has been my detailer ever since. I had so much swirl in my black GTR I wanted to sell it, but after he was done with it, my car looked better than new. Since then, my car has gone through many changes like being wrapped in vinyl. Even with the changes, SpeedFreak Detailing does all my detailing and maintanance of my car. They even tested and experimented wit my vinyl to see that products worked best with the vinyl. I highly recommend them for paint corrections and full details. They are authorized dealers for Modesta and Opti-Coat which are protective coats that make your car bling bling. Their pricing is very competitive, their customer service is awesome, and their quality of work is amazing. This is due to the fact that the owners Brian and John are the ones doing the actual work and not some hired hands. Can't say enough about this place. I've been trying to get my M5 to them for over a year, but with work and other obligations, couldn't make it happen. I am proud to say last week I had a day off to drop the vehicle off for stage 1 paint correction, opti-coat and headlight restoration. Brian's communications/customer service throughout the entire process was on point and very fast. He would update me frequently throughout the entire process which was a bonus. This place is as good as it gets! Took years off the car, and I get compliments left and right about how good my 15 year old car looks. Brought a brand new WRX to them to get the clear protection film done on the front end and to cover the car with one of their paint coatings. Even brand new, the car had small scratches. These guys did a meticulous job cleaning it up and applying their products. Looks like it has wet paint on it, it's so glossy! Exceeded my expectations! read more

I've known Brian since he was at the old shop and posting his work on the BMW forums. I always admired his work, his professional service, and his careful attention to detail that makes an OCD patient jealous. And no, I am not kidding.
