My husband and I just randomly came to this shop to get tattoos (courageous and trusting right?) and MAN WERE WE SO PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! This place blew us out of the water with how AMAZING and TALENTED their artists are! My husband and I were kind of all over the board initially but then had settled on an idea and then they sketched up a mock of what we wanted. We were so excited to get these tattoos and it seemed that were just as excited as we were. The day of our tattoos we came in and the work was a took about two hours and it was painless (this was my first tattoo and my husband's second). I just received a tattoo from Bully. I had a rather large chest piece done by him. We had planned to do the entire piece in two day with 20 hours of tattooing! We got the entire thing done in one day without sacrificing quality! If you give him patience and are able to sit still he can work very quickly and efficiently! I was amazed by his talent. This was also my first tattoo so I was very nervous going into this endeavor. The rest of the staff where amazing! I had an absolutely great time conversing with Bully. This review is not based on a recent visit, but from a past experience I had at this shop. I'm not sure if the artist that gave me the tattoo is currently still working there, as I've looked at their website and was not able to find him. I have a tattoo on my left wrist and wanted this tattoo on my right wrist. I was told that the placement was not acceptable, which made no sense... but I went along with it. I had a reference photo and wanted a monochromatic color scheme of a certain color. I specifically said this before the stencil was even printed and before I sat down in the chair. He had ended up setting up black and white and that was not what I had asked for, so I told him that. I even apologized out of habit because I felt bad, but I didn't want to get a tattoo of something with the colors I didn't want. Anyways, I don't want to assume anything... but, I'm honestly not sure if that could have played a role in how my tattoo turned out. I sat and he did my tattoo and when it was finished I was horrified. Did I say anything? No. I'm just not a confrontational person, I even gave him a good tip. I looked at his Instagram at the time and his work was amazing. He had really detailed portraits from what I recall and I honestly could not believe that my tattoo looked the way it did. He said that he was able to do it and I believed him. So here I am now with this horrible tattoo that is placed oddly, imo... on my upper? wrist. I have not gone back since and I'm not sure I ever will. If the owner or manager of the shop would like to see this tattoo, I would be willing to show it... but I will not be posting it online. I have not had it covered up or attempted to have it look like the intended image. I was and still am so disappointed by what happened at this shop and the work of this artist. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place or my artist Olivia!!! Wonderful work in a delicate style that looks too good to believe. She's so light handed and laid back I was actually relaxed getting a tattoo! Very fair rates and friendly staff. I was hesitant to come here because there were no reviews yet, but I wanted to give it a shot. My friend and I went there to get our noses pierced and I was impressed nonetheless. No ink for us, but looked at some of their portfolios, and they looked like solid artists. The place was clean, great atmosphere, good music. The artists were professional and friendly. Not sure how many stars to give this place, really. I went back to get my nose piercings changed because I got them done there. The guy was very nice, but I left there wondering what had happened. I had a double piercing and wanted two hoops in, I asked for the titanium ones and for some reason ended up with one titanium and one rose gold. I asked about sizing and apparently they are all "one size" but can be tightened. One of them is an OK tightness but the other one is HUGE and looks really dumb. He tightened it as much as possible, but I wish he would have told me when I asked about the sizes. I'm extremely disappointed, as I paid for it and have no idea what could have been said differently to get what I wanted. read more

Went in to get a basic white sox logo on my arm awhile back. Before I complain I will say the place was clean and organized. Also this is based off of one experience and I cant blame the establishment as a whole... that being said... The artist said he couldent place the tattoo in the spot I asked him to ( I didnt ask for an opinion just put it on my skin dude) after he gave me a price of 75 dollars which was fair he decides to change the price to 150 after the work was done. Didnt even look me in the eyes when he said it. Very sheisty. I still tipped the poor lad because he clearly needed it. The tattoo isnt even filled in great. After I got the work done it seemed like a group of usuals were at the shop hanging out in the front giving me bad looks killing the vibe. Your not badxss's because your fifty and decided to stain your privilege with tattoos. I just gave you business an overpaid for a tattoo that I could of done myself, at least put on a smile. This is my first bad review. This place left a horrible impression. Step it up. Learn how to be friendly and stop taking advantage of kind people. read more

I am so absolutely disgusted with the unprofessional behavior of one of the male tattoo artists (glasses and a beard). If you are uncomfortable tattooing someone with a transmittable disease, that is fine, but the disrespect and judgement is uncalled for. First of all, if you do not want to tattoo someone with hepatitis or HIV than put it on the form that you don't service that patient population instead of degrading someone who you have no idea about their life circumstances. Second of all, as a medical professional who works with this patient population ALL OF THE TIME, I've worn gloves my entire career and never gotten anything. If your uncomfortable fine, but please don't lecture your clients and even more so please educate yourself. Hate to say how many people were probably not honest with you because of this judgement and you unknowingly inked.. this place has great reviews so it's disheartening to know that the atmosphere was judgmental.
