Solely based on phone call, I won't go in. Kinda friendly but not. Á la carte charges for everything dealing with piercings (downsizing, jewelry changes-even if you buy new from them, etc.). Had bad juju from previous place that did this and was grossly overcharged. One and done. Went elsewhere and found my forever piercer, so a win overall. EDIT: responding to owner's comment, at no time was I told what you have said. Your employee said "$10 for every time they change jewelry or anything else; jewelry separate." When I asked her if they charge when downsizing from a piece purchased from you, was informed, "yes, every time something is done, a charge of $10, plus tax." I'd suggest you coach your team and perhaps stop spending so much time deflecting & challenging ppl's comments. Had I read before calling, I'd had known I would NOT want to do business with you. Yes, I am real. Not paid, nor a competitor as I've stated previously. No, not ever coming in. Shame on you. TLDR: I probably wouldn't go here again, but if you're knowledgeable about piercings already or just want something simple you'd be fine - JUST DON'T UPGRADE YOUR JEWELRY OR BUY THERE UNLESS YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT MEASUREMENTS YOU NEED. Pros first: they were clean and professional and had a decent jewelry selection. Now for the cons: given the level of experience they seemed to have, there were a bunch of things I wish they had told me before and after my piercing. 1) I spent an extra $60 to upgrade my conch ring to something I would want to keep wearing, which I mentioned when I picked it. The piercer made a passing comment about it being good to like what you had when you were healing, which I realized later was probably because after healing the hoop was much too large for the look I told him I wanted. I also picked out a stud to wear in my lobe. He asked where I would wear it and I told him either lobe or low cartilage, and then he sold me a 8mm post - way too long for a lobe! I came back and asked for a smaller post, which I had to buy even though they'd given me the wrong size, and it was still too large, at 6mm, but that was the smallest they had. I paid $110 for that! 2) I said I wanted a conch hoop, but after a 12 month healing process I discovered most piercers only pierce with a straight bar and then switch to hoop after healing - I would happily have gone along with this if informed it would help it heal. 3) their after care said to come back in if the piercing wasn't healing well. I made an appointment and did that - the girl at the front leaned across the desk to look at it and said I probably bumped it and shouldn't sleep on it. I told her I always tried to sleep on my back but tended to roll around. She shrugged and said keep doing the salt soaks, which I already was. - After a bunch of research I found some helpful tips online: get a travel pillow or piercing pillow with a hole in it and try sleeping on that; have the piercer put compressing discs on either side of the hole to help drain the moisture - for that matter she didn't even explain that the bump was likely a moisture bump caused because drainage was not functioning properly and I should make sure to always dry the piercing after soaking or washing it. 4) Lastly, and this may not be fair, but they placed the hole so that I require an 11mm inner hoop diameter for the look I wanted and showed to my piercer. Unfortunately, 16g conch hoops only come in 10mm and 12mm diameters. I don't know if that's something you can reasonably expect a piercer to control, but it's SUPER annoying. It appears my only option is to special order a ring from this one shop in the Netherlands and have it shipped. So yeah - on the whole I felt like they were supremely uninterested in actually making sure I understood what was going on and just gave me the typical aftercare instructions with some sea salt for soaking. read more

They have a COVID questionnaire. Everything is sanitized. They also have extra air purifiers throughout the building. They can customize navel rings in house. We did find out the hard way that you can't have any alcohol within 8 hours of getting a piercing. No one informed us of that ahead of time. My daughter was able to schedule a new appointment online without any problem. They gave us a 10% off coupon for our troubles. We returned a few days later. Navel piercing experience went well. One of my friends loves coming here and has nothing but great things to say so I went in today to get a new stud for my nose. She told me that the jewelry was great so I was excited to get a new one. After I left the store, I tried to put it in and realized that it was not the correct gauge (I didn't know that noses were pierced in different gauges). The girl at the counter was nice when she sold it to me but didn't mention what size the gauge was or tell me that they didn't have any return policy for jewelry. Once I realized it was incorrect, I immediately went back into the store to see if they had other available gauges or if they would be able to attempt to put it in for me. She apologized for not telling me the return policy and for not giving me any information about the gauge sizes but she was completely disinterested and didn't see to care I was out $30 on jewelry I can't use (again, she didn't tell me there was a no return policy). By the end of the conversation she was just being blatantly rude. I asked if she would try to help me get it in and she said that she could do it for a $10 charge and said she would still charge me $10 even if she couldn't get it in. I just cut my loses and left but honestly annoyed and frustrated that there wasn't a solution to a problem that wasn't my fault. read more

I got my 2nd hole of my ears pierced where I live in Wilmington NC and I traveled up here to Ohio to visit family. I noticed that the back of my right earring on my new piercing was missing so I decided to come to this place and get a new back. Sonja took me back and she felt my piercing and told me she thought the back of my earring was stuck in my piercing. I started to freak out thinking I might need to go to the ER because it was stuck! Sonja was very calm and told me everything was going to be okay. She remained professional and explained everything to me as she was doing it. The ease of making the online appointment, text and email reminder, smiling (behind their mask) faces, goodie bags with stickers/pins/cleaning instructions and the next hygiene practices I've ever seen, these guys are rockstars. They have quite literally thought of everything. Went in to get a cartilage piercing with my cousins and when I say they sterilized everything so well they could do surgery in the room I mean it. We all worked with Sonya and she's AMAZING. I'd come back to Cleveland just for her. I showed her my "end goal" for what I'd like to have in my cartilage and she gave me a few options/made a short game plan with me. It was my first tattoo and I was pretty nervous, but Crystal put me at ease. The tattoo I wanted was small, so part of the reason for my nerves was because I was afraid it would seem silly or like a waste of time, but she never made me feel rushed or like it was an inconvenience at all. I have to give our piercer Chris a glowing review! Three small ladies (they have a coupon if 3+ people get pierced! Take a friend, your grandma, a rando on the street.... whatever works) walked in wanted two nose piercings and an undecided ear piercing (she has tiny ears and didn't know what would fit). First of all, when you walk in and meet Chris if you don't automatically love him just walk out because there's something wrong with you.... Anyway. Back to business. Chris spent time pulling up pictures different things that he thought would work our friends tiny ear which made her decision a lot easier- thus pleasing all of us (no one likes the indecisive friend. I can say that only because it's usually me). He also just looks at you and is like oh, you're probably 5/16th of an inch and you're 4. Wut. Who can see a 1/16th inch difference? Chris can. They have tons of customization options with your jewelry which I think is super cool. I like obnoxiously plain things but if you're into fun colors and stuff they literally make it in house. HOW. COOL..... Even though I'm boring and will never utilize that it's a great option to have especially because initial piercings are usually so ugly. Chris was the perfect amount of personable and professional. He switches from one mode to the other and when he goes into piercing mode and explains every step in detail- whether it's sterilization or the procedure. He asked us about 72625 times which side we wanted things on which I completely appreciated (who wants a needle shoved through the wrong side?). Additionally, he based our nose piercing placement off if we wanted to wear studs, hoops, or both which is cool because I didn't even know that was a thing. I have a dreaded nose bump and he said unique things like that are always his favorite to pierce and adorn which made me happy cause who likes being self conscious? Usually I feel like when you get piercings going from the needle to the jewelry is the worst part but Chris is so quick and meticulous that I couldn't even feel the jewelry swap. I wish I wanted more things pierced so I could give Chris more of my business but I guess I'll settle on recommending all my other yelpers. read more
