I have been treated respectfully and promptly by both him and his office staff and I have been more than pleased with his services. He has always given me honest, helpful advice and been prompt with insurance matters, and return phone calls. When I did finally call him after many years of junk mail, a gentlemen named Gabriel answered and I gave him my contact information because he was not available to speak to me about an insurance quote and since Gabriel was not a licensed insurance broker he could not help me then. Later in the afternoon I called and another "just an employee who works here", answered but also told me that Mr. Pickerel was more interested in attending a Rotary Club Meeting than giving out insurance quotes during my lunch hour, the only time I can take a minute to shop around for car, home, rv, rental, and boat insurance. Methinks not because customer service doesn't appear to be the highest priority at the Pickerel Company!

There are only five RV sites, so it's quiet, peaceful, and never feels crowded. The sites are spacious, level, and well maintained, with beautiful views of the lake. The bathrooms and showers were exceptionally clean, and the Wi-Fi worked great. The owners were welcoming and accommodating during a stressful situation, which meant so much to us. We slept great, enjoyed a peaceful morning walk by the water, and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!
