He also suggested riding stationary bike, swimming laps and exercises I could do in the pool. By the time my surgery came I was in good shape, I had more mobility and could get around easier without a lot of pain. I did not have to manage pain with oxi prescription only Tylenol. I was working on the stationary bike much earlier, within first week. I was bending at 118 after one week and by two weeks I bent 128, I was walking with cane in two weeks. So I would recommend going to see George 3-6 months to get an evaluation before your upcoming surgery. So they can help you get in shape and prepared it makes such a big difference in your recovery. All the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable makes you feel right at home! I would highly recommend them for your PT needs.

ATI staff assesses your needs and adjusts your therapy to suit your individual needs. I was always encouraged during my treatment but never unduly pushed. The lead supervisor there wasn't as courteous nor as half professional toward me as I thought she would be. I would not recommend South Dover's ATI to anyone nowadays.

I was a recent patient at both the Governor's Avenue and Forest Avenue locations in Dover, DE…read more Forest Avenue for Physical Therapy, and Governor's for Occupational Therapy. I Chose Pivot because prior to moving to Dover, about a year and a half ago, I had used the Pivot clinic in Bear, De back when it was also called Dynamic Physical Therapy and had had excellent results with them. I was not at all disappointed with the two locations in Dover. I saw the therapists at Forest Avenue for some rehab on a knee replacement and I went to the Governor's Avenue for some issues with my left wrist. Fantastic results from both locations and I cannot speak highly enough nor thank them all enough for the work they did with me and what they taught me to do on my own to keep things working properly. A great organization with wonderful people. If you need physical or occupational therapy and you live in the Dover area, Pivot is where you need to go.
