I tried other PT locations and did not get relief, but within weeks of seeing George Edelman and getting dry needling, I had immense relief and felt like I could skip out of the door! I have had several other fantastic PTs there as well like Julie, Jen, Chris and Greg. Everyone there is super nice and they remember your preferences/needs like the exact under legs cushion and table angling when you're getting heat and stem.

He also suggested riding stationary bike, swimming laps and exercises I could do in the pool. By the time my surgery came I was in good shape, I had more mobility and could get around easier without a lot of pain. I did not have to manage pain with oxi prescription only Tylenol. I was working on the stationary bike much earlier, within first week. I was bending at 118 after one week and by two weeks I bent 128, I was walking with cane in two weeks. So I would recommend going to see George 3-6 months to get an evaluation before your upcoming surgery. So they can help you get in shape and prepared it makes such a big difference in your recovery. All the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable makes you feel right at home! I would highly recommend them for your PT needs.

I Chose Pivot because prior to moving to Dover, about a year and a half ago, I had used the Pivot clinic in Bear, De back when it was also called Dynamic Physical Therapy and had had excellent results with them. I was not at all disappointed with the two locations in Dover. I saw the therapists at Forest Avenue for some rehab on a knee replacement and I went to the Governor's Avenue for some issues with my left wrist. Fantastic results from both locations and I cannot speak highly enough nor thank them all enough for the work they did with me and what they taught me to do on my own to keep things working properly. At one time I was leaving later at night like 7pm. There were people screaming for help and no nurse or aide was even in the area. I ran to the nursing home side and their nursing staff helped those people in total I was waiting 45 mins for help and no one showed. Mom was there 3 weeks and because she wasn't doing enough they were going to kick her out however we brought her home for 9hrs and after an at home nurse saw her they said to call 911 she was so bad she spent a month in Salisbury and now she's on week 2at Berlin and doing so much better. Her bladder almost exploded ( I'm exaggerating a little bit she looked 9 months pregnant) they emptied the catheter 5 times and all of the people in Salisbury hospital said it's the most pee they ever dealt with. She had 2 major illnesses and begged to sleep and they said after 3 no answers Medicaid made them kick her out. I have never in my life herd that about someone with RSV.do not send people to this place bay health in Georgetown behind McDonald's.worst rehab i have ever seen. No clue how they have high reviews except the nursing home side is a small amount better then the other

I always suffered with back and shoulder pain. Dr. D has relieved that pain, and I also haven't suffered with hardly any new back pain during this pregnancy. Air Force doctors weren't able to offer any relief (other than pain meds), or a pathway to restore my health/flexibility to anything close to what I was capable of doing beforehand. I got a referral from the VA Hospital for a Chriopractor, and it has been such a tremendous relief for me! After my 1st visit I left their office walking upright with a lot less pain for the 1st time in 23 years! Her bedside manner is so horrible and does not want to take responsibility for having a treatment plan completely wrong. No recommendations from me. I would not send my worst enemy to her. Instead of speaking to her patients directly when requested by the patient she tells the receptionist who is not clinical the message to explain to the patient. Who does that especially when the patient has an issue. I have never been mistreated like this and left hanging in a lot of pain. Unacceptable!
