Since I wasn't sure on rates, I had seen (on another hotels site) that it was a flat $28.50 to go to the airport, but after calling 215getacab, the dispatcher quoted $32 give or take. He could have been more helpful, but technically he did answer my main question. As for the information online, I didn't know what an egress fee was, or information about the meters, etc. for this specific trip, so I just bit the bullet and managed to get one from my hotel. There is a hotel fee for about $3 which isn't terrible, but now I can see why people go around the corner to hail a cab themselves to avoid the fee. Kwame was my cab driver, and he was cool. We talked a little but mostly had the ride in silence which was fine with me. He did start the meter by accident, but I was charged a lesser fee once we arrived. I felt the trip was shorter than expected, as it's been so long since I've taken a lot of these roads, especially to the airport. Once we arrived, Kwame was kind to carry my bag to the curb under the overpass so it would stay out of the rain. I know some people had negative experiences here, but I'm pleased to say mine was the opposite. Thanks to Kwame and 215 for getting me safely to where I needed to go!

The dispatcher called me back immediately after I left a message with the company, and was friendly and helpful in coordinating travel details for an airport pickup for my parents, who are... not technology friendly. Dispatcher called me back the afternoon of my parent's scheduled arrival with specific info on their driver - name, phone #, etc - in addition to trying to text it to them. (Nice try, my parents don't understand texting.) Their driver called moments after they stepped off the plane, and he was available curbside to them as soon as they'd collected their luggage. I'd warned them that there was quite a bit of luggage, so the driver had even brought an assistant to help him load up. Mom reported that the SUV they sent was clean and well cared for, and still had plenty of room for her, my dad, and their 8 suitcases. Driver was friendly and attentive. Mom could not have been more pleased. She even asked for his card! (Mom NEVER does this, because she finds fault with EVERYTHING.) I think it's safe to say we've found our new transportation service! ETA - this company and 1 Luxury Limousine are the same company. (Reviews are pretty great on both.) Not sure why there are two profiles, but it seemed worth mentioning.

I took a ride across me $7 I dropped my item that's only like $7 and they charge me $20 to retrieve it it's like holding your item for ransom. So I look at it like if it's an item that's not worth retriever leave it be and if it is worth retrieving more likely you won't be able to get it and they won't reimburse you but yet they will charge you $20 to retrieve your own items. He continued to follow and scream at me as I attempted to get in the next taxi, which led to the female taxi attendant at the airport having to redirect him while I l held my hand in front of my face l to show disengagement. It was 93 degrees outside, this cab's windows were closed and the AC was not on. I asked the driver 2 or 3 times to please put the AC on, he put it on for about 5 minutes, then turned it down. He made wrong turns, going right instead of left....many short stops. After paying, we sat waiting for him to open the trunk, asked 3 times, then he finally opened and made no effort to help with luggage. We are typically very generous tippers, he got nothing. He turned around in our neighbors driveway then started yelling at us. I had to put one star in order to post, he would have received zero.
