Visited this place to return a package and I should have known better. The woman was rude and dismissive. She told me to just place my box "over there" I waited a while until a sticker was placed but she said she'd get to it. And that's my fault for believing her because wouldn't you know it my package went missing. Not only terrible customer service but awful professionalism. Liberty parcel is right up the street. I've been getting my packages delivered here for almost 6 years. The store used to be owned by Mike. He was super friendly and had an old school way of doing things. Back then it wasn't always perfect, some days the line was crazy long and depending on what's going on you might have to wait a day or two to get your package, the mail was interesting as well if you didn't have a mailbox. A stack he would sift through to see if you had anything. Mike was so easy going and nice that we just went with it. Now though, since Heather took over ownership it's so different and I love it. I'm always in awe of how much it changed and how good it is. She moved locations and the space is nice and big. Loved that it's only one or two blocks from the last place so it wasn't an inconvenience at all. Everything is really organized, even when there is a longer line they move quickly. Both Heather and Meredith are super nice and friendly. If you're looking for a place to get all of your packages delivered to, I highly recommend it. It's a good price and it makes me have to worry less about stolen packages etc... You'll either get a text, email or both when your package is delivered. If you get mail, it's easy since it's organized and they can easily find it. This store has been my one stop shop for all the things like printing, scanning, shipping stuff, and making copies of keys. I love it. read more

i have rented a lot of mailboxes over the years as i have moved around the country a lot for work and i would have to say that this my experience here was better than most. First off the were quick to respond to my yelp message and once i found their webpage all the info i wanted was easy to find. Also their store has way better hours than i have found anywhere else. I went there that afternoon spoke to an associate got taken care of quickly was explained everything got my box situated. Also they have a great system of scaling up the services you need and what you are charged as your needs or business grows. So you only have to pay for the lowest tier in the beginning and then either keep that low fee or go up to a more expensive one as your services needed grow. In a world of businesses trying to overcharge u for almost everything they can this was a refreshing change. Hopefully this will be just the beginning of a long relationship with this p.o.box provider. read more

We first came to avoid theft from our doorstep, but have stayed because of the wonderful people who work tirelessly to quickly and safely deliver our parcels. TL;DR - Dope store. Better guy. The owner, Mike, is probably the nicest guy in the entire neighborhood. Every time that I go in there (everyday) he asks me how I'm doing and every Friday he asks me what I'm up to for that weekend. He always has all my boxes stacked nicely in the corner, making it easy for me to grab and go. Whenever I ship something, he gives me some really affordable options and always gives me the tracking information and an ETA. Need to print something? Done. Fax? Yup. You can even get a key made on the spot. Mike has even put up with my "hey, has a package arrived for me?" phone calls that I make more often than I'd like to admit. Yea, you could find another mailbox store close by. I would just recommend this one first. read more

NLMS provides great services at good prices. Yes, the store is under new management but my experiences with the new staff have been excellent. Are there going to be delays while some changes are made? Of course. But I would argue that the store is much more organized than it was before. When Mike ran the store, there were plenty of lines out the door, long waits, and lost packages. But most people were ok with it because Mike was the nicest guy in the world and a neighborhood institution. Seems like some reviewers just don't like change. read more

KICKASS mailbox/mail supplies store located in the Northern Liberties! Great little selection of cards, all the mailing supplies you need, and you can print things from the internet/get keys made here. I live in the NoLibs, but I'm an Air Force pilot stationed out of NJ. My job takes me out of country for weeks at a time, so getting packages delivered to my house took some extensive planning to ensure I'd be home. That is, until Mike opened up this store... With a NoLibs Mailbox store box, I get all my packages delivered there; Fedex, UPS, US Post Office. I mail everything from there too, and Mike gives you the choice between the carriers, so you can choose the cost better than at your normal Post Office. He's held onto packages for me for over a month while I was out of town, with a smile to boot! One final, superb example: Christmas Eve, 2008 found me at a friends house on 2nd street. Mike and his wife were open until 4 p.m. that day; a package arrived for me there just prior to closing. Mike called me and hand carried the package to my friends place as he and his family left the city for the holidays because he wanted to make sure it got to me before Christmas. That's service. I'm moving, and I'll miss this place. read more

The location has moved just two doors down (right next to the Northern Liberties community center). This place is still awesome and I've been going here exclusively since it has opened its doors. The owner is a local - and he is kind, friendly and always provides you with every option possible to mail packages and isn't out to make a quick buck. He's an attentive and caring business owner. I also go here for the random faxing, photocopying or key making and I've never had nary a wait and pricing is reasonable for those services, too. What prompted me to update my review and to elevate my rating is that, 1) he deserves it, but 2) after rushing in this morning (the place opens early, a big plus in my book!) to send Christmas gifts to nephews and nieces (why is Christmas so damn early this year) - he measured my gifts, picked the right shipping box, had the addresses to whom I was sending them on file (based on last year's shipments) and was able to just confirm the addresses, let me pay and send me on my way (less than 10 minutes) without having to put the boxes together, fill them or write out an address and he also guaranteed delivery before Christmas. Seriously, he's the man. There are a few service businesses in Philadelphia that are as reliable, friendly and polite as this one - and for that he's got my business forever (or as long as I stay in the neighborhood). read more

All of these 5 star reviews are spot-on. Mike provides a perfectly run business; it's always a pleasure going in. The mailbox/package service solves every problem I have with apartment living for a couple bucks a month - $6.86 to be exact (if you pay a year in advance, he kicks in two months for free!) He's so nice, even if you go in with an armful of things to ship five minutes before closing. Packages are signed for and kept them safe until you find time to pick them up - without attitude or complaint. And using the store's street address ensures that no Ebay creeper knows where you live! ***They just moved from the corner of 3rd and Fairmount (across from the Abbaye) a few doors North - on the other side of the Northern Liberties Neighborhood Association. Of all the awesome things in Northern Liberties, this is one of my absolute favorites! Mike, the store owner, embodies the very exact opposite of everything about a typical Philadelphia post office. He is always in a good mood, he is efficient without behind hurried, he's nice to everyone, he knows who his customers are, he is extremely helpful,and he's really knowledgeable about his industry (and clearly a devoted Phillies fan). I don't know how he manages to do everything himself 6 days a week and keep all this up, but it is MUCH appreciated. All of the previous reviews are very accurate. The owner is great, and never complains when I am away and the packages pile up. I have a small mailbox and I pay $8 a month. I would pay triple that just for the package service alone. I generally do not receive mail at the store, but unlimited packages is included in the deal. I never have to worry about my packages being sent back, I get to avoid arguments with my husband over who will pick up the packages, and I never have to wait in line at UPS, USPS, or FedEx ever again. They appear to carry a large stock of shipping material and provide an assortment of other services (copying, printing, etc). Bonus - they recycle shipping material, so I feel greener when I drop off styrofoam for reuse. read more

This in an amazing store. You can ship packages in whatever the cheapest or fastest form is -- UPS, USPS, FedEx -- and that's great when you have multiple sized packages going multiple places. The owner is honest and so nice, and he will also tape up/ package your boxes/ packages. He sells a variety of packaging materials, stamps, and notarizes too. He also sells PPA parking pre-paid cards and stamps, without a crazy fee. There's also a USB friendly printer/ scanner and computer that makes it an ideal place if you work at home and sometimes need that sort of thing. I definitely recommend this place to make your shipping and business needs much easier. read more
