I was in need of some palm trees to be cut so I called Matthew who is local in Apple Valley. I sent him some pictures of the palm trees I needed cut and he was able to give me a quote over the phone. I asked him to send me a paper invoice and I would then send him a check in the mail because I wouldn't be home when he was scheduled to come. He mailed me the invoice and I mailed him a check. I've been living at my house for a couple of years and have never tended to the trees. Because of that the trees no longer looked like trees but large overgrown bushes. I contacted a few places through Yelp and Matt was the very first person to reply. In fact, he called me within 10 minutes of sending my message. He was personable and was able to accommodate my schedule. He was able to come out that evening for the estimate. Matt was very professional and came in a legit work truck. That might sound weird, but I had a few people drive in broke down looking trucks which didn't do a whole lot for my trust in these other business. He also wrote down the estimate and gave me a copy. Again, something minor but it let me know that I could trust this person and there would be no question on the agreed upon estimate. He and his guys were able to come out a few days later and completed the job while I was at work. My trees came out fantastic. Wow let me tell you, this crew did an amazing job at my house. My husband and I had some atrocious cactus and succulents from the previous home owner. We ourselves spent a few days and a couple hours trimming and we barely got anything done with those cactus. These guys came to our house on time and ready to work. American Tree Company did such a great job that I have to tell my story. I had contracted with another tree service but because of differences I cancelled. He was very professional, friendly and defintely knows the tree business. I was very surprised and pleased because Matt's estimate was one half the price of my previous estimate.
