We've all had experience with the bad contractors: the ones who won't show up for a quote, the ones who take advantage, the ones who take your deposit and forget you exist. Steilberg Painting is one of those rare companies that has its feet firmly planted on the side of the good guys. They've done two fairly large jobs for me trim paint on my 2-3 story home on a steep incline, and an interior paint job on my foyer, stairwell, stairs and upstairs hallway. Both jobs required scaffolding and extensive detail work, and both were completed on time, with care, by painters who knew what they were doing. The tips they gave me on painting are ones I continue to use for my own paint jobs, and their attention to detail was extraordinary. Good painters ARE NOT CHEAP. That's because painting, to put it delicately, is a pain in the derrière.
