It is so nice to see a new Hardware Store open in La Grange that is a locally owned business. I try to shop a local business when i can. It is a very nice well stocked store with competitive prices. They are conveniently located out on the new Commerce Parkway. They have a full range of services from Hardware, Lumber, Paint and a Design Center. They even have a Design Team that can help you plan you projects. I had been looking for wooden stakes for my recently planted tomato plants. This was the only place near la Grange I could find that had them in stock. The staff, especially Brian, is very friendly and will go out of their way to help you. I am REALLY happy that we have a hardware store again in La Grange - much more convenient than driving into Louisville multiple times a weekend when you have a project you need to get done and don't get everything on trip #1! This is an independent franchise so I get to support a local business while still having a great selection and competitive pricing. Customer win on multiple levels. I needed to go in for an outside drainage solution before the rain hit. I went in by myself and the folks behind the counter collaborated with me to find a price-friendly solution that fit my needs and was simple to install. I never felt intimidated (unfortunately that's still a reality in some places) and would have no problem going back for my next project (and there is ALWAYS a next project...). PS - the person behind the counter (owner?) was explaining to me that they get a really great deal on paint, a white label brand of the expensive stuff at a steady ~20% off. I live local and needed some lumber. I love Lowes but decided to shop local. Got there and not one person in the store had on a mask. I should have turned and walked out but I really did not want to drive into Louisville. I asked the lady at the back desk did they not respect their customers enough to wear a mask at least if the customer did. She said, we don't were masks here. Not spending my money in a place with no more respect than that for the customer. They don't care. read more

I had really high hopes for this large hardware store in Oldham County. Looking for a pole edger for a paint project, I walked through the paint section and could not find the tool I needed. I circled a few times and made my way back toward the door. Someone did stop me and ask me if I needed help. However, when I asked for my desired item, the response was simply, "I really have no idea if we have that. The guy who runs this section isn't here today." Not knowing the product you carry is no way to do business. Bummer! read more

I've been there 4 times and they had what I needed each visit. Staff was helpful, they also assisted me loading bags of concrete in my vehicle. Prices were inline with what you would expect, saved me 4 trips to Louisvile in 6 months. read more
