One purchased piece of furniture was not in stock and the predicted time to make the piece was on the money. The store held the other furniture to prevent us from paying twice for delivery. Delivery set up was a breeze. The furniture arrived and we were called to choose a convenient date for delivery. The only thing that could be improved would be to have a 2-hour window for delivery as promised. As it were, we were not given a time frame, and sat at home all day, with the furniture not arriving until 3: 30. However, the delivery personnel were exceptional in their handling of the furniture and careful not to damage walls. I highly recommend this store for furniture needs. It is located on English Station Rd in Middletown, near the water tower. The business has dedicated parking.

We always bring our own tape measure but staff were walking around the showroom with them. We needed a very specific size for our living room. I like that their website also items that are available in their showroom. We paid to have our couch delivered. Delivery staff notified us of delivery the day prior. I appreciated the 30 minute heads up prior to delivery on that day. The two men that delivered our couch had attention to detail & were quick in the process. Thank you for a great buying experience!

You know how the old saying goes if sounds too good to be true it most likely is. My wife and I went to overstock on Saturday the 18th and at checkout we inquired about hauling away our old furniture when they deliver our new and we were told to just discuss it with the drivers and work out an arrangement with them. The manager told us that he had never heard of anyone being turned down. We spoke to the delivery drivers, and they were as frustrated as we were as this has happened 5 or 6 times in the last week and wished the salespeople would quit telling customers this as it just isn't so. The delivery drivers were very professional and just trying to their jobs no complaints. Once we found out that the old furniture was going to be left on our front lawn because they could not take it I refused the shipment. This gets more ridiculous as customer support for LOW is telling me how sorry she is with no resolution. I told her if you are going to apologize for something it should follow with an action to show sincerity of the apology. She followed up by telling me there would be a 10% restocking fee I am assuming that was the nice gesture from LOW. So now I have no new furniture and before the 18th of July I had 1900.00 which now I have 1578.24. There is two things I would like to see happen from this review as well as the complaint I have made with the BBB. First, I would like the remaining balance that LOW stole from me returned secondly, I would like LOW to explain more clearly to their future customers what they are getting into. This would avoid these types of situations. For those that do happen to read this just a suggestion if you have old furniture, you need removed make sure you get a CRYSTAL-CLEAR explanation of how, who, and when it will be removed. It took over the space vacated by the now bankrupt Steinmart. There is nothing fancy about this spot. It very much feels like a dumping site for furniture and is organized by type/room. It is a land of rejected, broken pieces. The signage attempts to excite you - 50% off or more - but then you flip the tag to find out it is still outrageously overpriced on top of being broken. The facility is large, and most workers were either at the front desk or helping people wedge items into their trucks. I appreciated watching the quiet nature of the staff today as a customer carried on a conversation with the customer service team via her cell phone. She was a lot to handle and you could tell they didn't want to escalate the situation. Apparently this spot has a following. Bring a large pocketbook ... and duct tape.
