The BEST thrift store I have ever been too!! Wow can I say the selection of *anything* you want it's there. Clothing, vintage craft items, beautiful paintings, down to school items. I am so impressed by not only the great items, but the LOW PRICES wow. I'm from San Diego California and can I tell you, you will LOVE this place. The prices were very inexpensive but the place was so crowded I could barely make my way around to try and look at everything. They had more clothes than anything else. I was looking for yarn and didn't find any. I did buy a sturdy tote bag which I can always use and in the area where yarn would have been I found a bag of grannie squares which I always keep an eye out for. I take on other people's unfinished projects and make them into baby blankets that I donate. The tote bag was $0.57, the bag of grannie squares was $1.91. It must not be non profit because there was a little bit of tax, which is fine. Years ago I had a store and the ADA people were all over me to make sure I had aisles that were wide enough for a wheelchair to pass through even though I'd only had 3 customers in wheelchairs in 10 years and all of them had left happy because I brought things up and showed them to them like a personal shopper would do. I had fun showing them the items and they had fun picking out what they wanted. Anyway, the point is that there is no way anyone with a wheelchair or crutches would be able to navigate this store. Or a mom with a stroller. The ladies who work there were very nice. 11/15/17 upping the Stars by one because the ladies are so nice, the merchandise is pretty decent, the prices are great on most things, and I believe they have improved the aisles a bit. You still probably want to avoid an aisle with a shopping cart in it and avoid taking a cart down an aisle if you can help it. But I've been going in more often because they have great sales. On Mondays and Wednesdays it's 50% off everything which I don't think previously knew. read more

Passing through town on our way from San Diego to New Orleans. On the hunt for some ridiculous carnival outfits we decided to stop at this cute thrift store. Found 2 of the same very ugly dresses that are pretty perfect and some other cool outfits that will do the job. I have dropped into this store on occasion, this past week I pulled in to a parking space got out to witness the most horrible event taking place on the sidewalk.. One of the employees " Margret" I believe her name to be was violently attacking a small Spanish Lady, mostly verbal who apparently did not understand/use English very well... her two very small children terrified in tears holding ragged torn stuffed toys. The lady had no item in her hands and was begging please listen. . . I'm sure from the events I witnessed outside and inside the store that no intent to ' STEAL" was present, the children had simply misplaced their allowance in the store, or perhaps actually paid ? in any event their money was not found. . . A kind customer/man there when they came back inside interpreted the language barrier......gave the store money for the children's ragged torn dirty stuffed toys and they all left crying. Excuse me but all this was uncalled for, a STORE that is suppose to contribute to a Children's Charity " which I'm doubting" threating children like this, in sheer terror !! Children are children, innocent and learning. . I have shopped there not often but when searching for a vintage item... donated there, and also have an Estate Sale project to donate to charities. However this Store will certainly NEVER get another visit, donation or etc. This is deplorable action and uncalled for.....My guess is the Store Owner is not aware of half the things that occur, she needs better employee's perhaps of a different attitude herself !!! She is suppose to be an ex teacher, God help the children she runs across in any manner. read more

It was a mess. Lots and lots of old old stuff. It smelled. It was packed in like a maze. It was creepy.

We are on vacation and was very excited when I saw this store, so was very disappointed at the way we were treated there. We love thrift stores and never saw a tag the way theres is done with the date it was brought in, so my daughter went to ask if the 49 was the price the cashier then felt the need to look at another customer and say apparently they can't read a tag and skipped that class. We just walked out and didn't buy anything. First place in the week we've been here that we was treated so rudely read more

Best possible thrift shop in Amarillo. Classic thrift shop too, it's got the cigarette smell that I honestly cherish in a good thrift, the aisle are so tight that nobody wants to walk down the aisle if you're already in the aisle so it's your own perfect private mall. I personally have the exact style that a thrift shop has to offer, so I go crazy and buy everything when I'm there. The content? I can't even put into numbers the amount of Retro/Vintage/American Classic/Hipster/90's clothes I find I love it so much. Keep it up America's Best! read more
