After endless searching for an affordable, yet stylish rug I decided to walk into Stubblefield's to check out their remanent carpet and ask about having it bound for a custom rug. Best decision ever! Way better selection than all the various beige carpets across the street. Debbra is knowledgeable, doesn't cheat or try to cut corners, she offers the total cost upfront -- no surprise fees! I wanted a rug for the living room (11x13') and dinning (7x9') that complemented each other without being too matching. Also, different piles, something high for the living and low for the dinning hairs to slide across. Debbra offered the perfect pairing to an lovely, thick carpet I had picked out. Something I probably wouldn't have chosen myself. When I asked her about maybe needing carpet padding to help pad the rugs, she suggested waiting to see if I felt I needed it after trying it out at home. A business that doesn't try to sell you more than you need, what a concept! We spent less than $600 on two large rugs, I could not be happier. Do yourself a favor and come talk to Debbra! There's a nice sized assortment of wines and beers from all over, and if you just want to try one or two different beers, they're happy to let you buy by the bottle, or build your own six-pack. Beside the wine and beer are the food aisles, ranging from Eastern European, Indian, Italian, Korean, Japanese, and more. Our Czech exchange student was so excited to see familiar candies and chocolates when we took her; helped with the homesick cravings a lot to be able to pick her up the occasional Kinder chocolates. If you're a Torani syrup fan like I am, they have it stacked floor to ceiling on the back wall, in all flavors and many in sugar free as well. They've also got a million kinds of teas, from Earl Grey to flowering to weight loss. I buzzed in here at the last minute after getting a referral from a girl at Natural Grocers that this store had some glasses with tea infusers built in. The clerks were very nice and helped me find the right section after I wandered around the tea and coffee area and didn't spot them. They were over with other household items rather than in the food section. They showed me at least three if not four different kinds. I saw one that was very interesting and only $10 but the online reviews were mixed on it so I hesitated. I might go back for it, I'm not sure. I forgot how fun it was to walk around the World Market and look at all their interesting items. I will have to go back there when I have more time to meander around and look. I did buy a package of Scottish shortbread cookies, something that is mostly a yearly treat because I don't need the calories but I do enjoy the flavor and texture of these delicacies.

I was told that since my purchase was a sale item I was not able to exchange it. I explained to them that I couldn't use the item & would be happy to do an even exchange even though the item I was trying to exchange was more expensive. They wouldn't budge from their "store policy". What is the purpose of buying local when the local shop makes ridiculous policies? You would have been able to make more money by reselling the higher priced item & I would have been a satisfied customer. Apparently customer service isn't an important policy at Panache'. I have purchased my last item at your store and I will spread the word about how you treat your customers!
