Mine had 2 beds. The bathroom had Neutragena products. There was a closet with an iron and ironing board behind the mirror. And mostly the beds were extremely comfortable. We found 2 charging stations next to the bed. They literally thought of everything. Refrigerator, microwave and large tv. Very clean and thoughtful.Best part: I didn't have to leave before 5:00 am for the race. I would stay at this hotel again.

Complimentary breakfast included scrambled eggs and biscuits & gravy, all tasted very fresh. Also fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt, etc., and a waffle maker for fresh waffles. The pool seemed a little small, but sufficient. A little shade at the pool would be nice. I had a little trouble finding the cable channel guide with the TV remote... no big deal, just a detail. It's totally old school, but with modern amenities such as flat screen TV, mini fridge and microwave, and multi-plug charging station. The air conditioner is whisper quiet and the bed and pillows are just the right level of soft. There is a freezer with ice outside. Since the bathroom sink is so tiny, it's hard to refill a bike water bottle or CamelBak bladder. Turn around and use the bathtub. Problem solved. I got to meet Scott, the owner, and some of his employees and they are all super friendly. He enjoyed telling me about the attention he received when he and his motel were featured on the front page of the KC Star in 2015 (the article is posted under glass at the front desk so take a look when you check in), and how he is happy to host bikers from the trail and hopes to see more as the trail expands. The motel is just a 100 yards or less off the trail, across the street from Sonic. It's also an easy 10 minute walk into town to some of the other restaurants. Look forward to staying here again.
