She has helped me several times now, sometimes with an appointment and sometimes when I just walked in, and every time she has been warm, patient, and genuinely helpful. Onyi took the time to walk me through different bank services in a way that never felt rushed or pushy. But what really stood out was how she treated my kids. She helped them open their first bank accounts and spoke to them with such kindness and respect. She made the whole process feel exciting and meaningful. Since then, I have seen a real shift in how they think about saving and spending. It has truly made a difference. Onyi made something as routine as a trip to the bank feel personal. She is a gem, and Bank of America is lucky to have her.

She refused to allow my mother to use me as her interpreter and support her business needs. Priscilla was rude, nasty and acted like she understood my mother's needs better than I do. It took us two days, three trips and more than four hours to accomplish something that ultimately took Priscilla less than 15 minutes to amend. My mother is 90 years old and has some physical and cognitive impairments that require her to need assistance. I assist her in handling her business. I have spoken on her behalf to the social security office, Medicare, attorneys, doctors, pharmacies, other banks and more with no issues. -- and Priscilla refused to let me speak for my mother who has hearing loss -- even though my mother told her twice the first day and four times the second day to talk to me so that I can interpret for her. The second day Priscilla said to me, I'm going to help her without you which stressed my mother out more -- my mother refused to budge and even after my mother kept telling her "I need her in there with me", she refused to deal with me. Finally, she had no choice with my mother's insistence. She accused me of stressing my Mother out when we just needed her to do her job, and we had all the correct paperwork. Priscilla demanded documentation that didn't exist and we didn't need and acted like she's doing us a favor -- without even looking at her account. She told us that our documentation was wrong and sent us back to the attorney and in fact she doesn't know what she's looking at or talking about and it was done correctly. This manager would rather argue and fight and control my interaction with my mother -- than just do her job. She's unprofessional, condescending and an embarrassment to the bank she represents.

    Used this institution for a solar loan more than 3 years ago. Sold the property, subsequently the…read moreremaining loan balance was satisfied through escrow. There was a balance owed to me, and falsely a notice of delinquent account status. I attempted to settle the remaining balance and clear the delinquency as none existed, went into the Culver City Branch in person after almost 2 hours the issues were resolved and I left with the remaining funds in my pocket. Not too long after I received a check for $5, in effect completely closing the account in its entirety per the attached correspondence. Thinking all was handled, I continued to receive statements! Thinking this supremely odd I wrote and requested for the correspondences to cease, no response was ever received. Today I receive a notice stating I will be charged for having a balance below $50, this notice was dated on April Fool's day, so I call, I'm not so happy with the representatives who answered my call, they acted as IF I shouldn't feel how I'm feeling, I was even told "I need to get approval from my manager to close the account so you don't have to come in", well that statement sent me to a special place of annoyance, I won't even quote the representative after I protested needing to make any more effort, I requested to speak to the manager. Thankfully he saw the time period and could empathize with my angst, my only request was for him to use what happened to my loan in totality and the responses by his staff as a teaching moment.

But breaking up is a whole different story ( closing any above) you will then see that sweet bank do a perfect impression of Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction. If you are already in a relationship with BMO here is advice... Record each phone call, keep each statement/correspondence, just saying.

I care for the false representation of themselves on television. I don't like the false promises that they're making to people. I can't stand the blue color. I am slowly working on getting my money out of there if I could even touch my money. You are seeing a video of me After I put $1400 $300 of it which was cash into the ATM. The ATM just literally went out of service and snatched my money. They denied me access to my money for almost 2 weeks. I think it was 13 days...I had to pay my car payment with a credit card! I am so angry and infuriated over this. I have a right to be angry that I could not access my money my own money. I went into the bank day after day and I'm like you can't do this. You have to give me my money..."looks like it might be another 10 days"WHAT???? Another 10 days after it's already been 10 days are you kidding me? Nothing about this is OK and of course I am leaving the bank. It's just takes a little bit of time to extricate myself from this horrible situation. let's not talk about as they took over Bank of West. They said nothing's gonna change. You can still continue using all your cards. Everything's gonna be great well now that was a lie and everything that was attached. I needed to put it to the BMO card... BMO has done nothing but BMO pain in my butt. I have been in touch with a senior vice president who forced them to give me a provisional credit for the money that I put in your account. I'm like I provided the bottom half of my paystub so like how could you not give me the credit it's not like this isn't a company that you haven't seen. I even gave them a check stub and a full check from when I was doing a screen capture and sending it in. I told the SVP that I was appreciative, but with all due respect, I should've had this provisional credit by day two. I provided you a check stub of the money that went in if anything give me that credit I had access to nothing things were bouncing left and right charges. I was so far negative. I was just like losing my mind... it's unbelievable incompetency on everybody's end on this part is disgusting. I cannot wait to leave this bank. And then to further things there is a woman named Cheryl Hayes that works there and I handed her two checks, and I asked her to take a look in my account and see if I ever put them in because they didn't have a checkmark usually when I mobile deposit, I put a check on the check like on the back of it and she said nope they haven't been put in so I put it in Well it came back. They charge me and they charge me fee and told me this never been put in. She's like oh well it was four years old. I'm like well you didn't tell me that you told me it was fine to put in... I mean that's a bit my bad too. But, she's the banker. I have a credit card with BMO. Well guess what the credit card and checking accounts don't talk to each other. They bounced my payment for insufficient funds because they wouldn't let me into my money and the money that was going automatically deposited into that account was getting sucked into the balance of negativity. My payment is on auto pay and after they bounced my payment they charge me a late fee but it's because you didn't let me have access to my money on the 11th that payment went through. We wouldn't be having this problem right now, but we're having this problem right now, you did not allow me access to my money. Yeah and Danny Hovhanessian is VILE. You know speaking to the SVP he was sympathetic and he understood and he let me vent. Danny was not used to a strong woman who has an opinion. He was very intimidated by me. When he should be saying, I'm sorry this is our fault and I understand your frustration. How can I help you make this better. Nope. he wanted me to be quiet to talk nice well guess what buddy if this happened to you would you not voice your opinion and want it to be heard. As if I did not have a right to. If you made it all the way to the end of this rant, I applaud you, but I also warn you do not put your money in BMO. Horrible, horrible banking. Stay FAR FAR FAR AWAY! If I could give this bank -5 stars I would. I will not be doing business with them very longer, and I suggest nobody even start.
