Short version: Jason Smith and his team are lazy and horrible at communication. I would never trust…read moreanyone in this office to help with the buying or selling a house. If I could give Jason Smith and his team no stars I would. Jason puts up a good front but will do nothing to help in selling your home. He walked into our home and informed us how beautiful it was and how it would sell really quickly. We ended up selling the house For Sale By Owner with our own sign out front and listing on Zillow as an FSBO. Jason will tell you exactly what you want to hear and makes lots of promises about what he is going to do to help sell your home but never follows through. There were many times that his colleague Lisa would come to the house to do an open house. When we would meet with her after the open house she wouldn't have much feed back for us and would just say it went well and she expected that we would see offers from the efforts. We would often times after showing ask for feedback about the house and Jason nor his team would have any kind of valuable constructive criticism. It would usually be something like "Yeah, they loved the house." "Ceilings were a little low upstairs but otherwise they loved it." There were also numerous times that we would attempt to make contact with Jason and it would take hours or days to get a response from him. Jason's communications skills are lacking. He is 100% a salesman of himself and his company but not of your house. After we discontinued our contract with Jason his office still had paperwork for our house that we needed in order to complete the sale of our house. We attempted to make contact with him for approximately 5 weeks. When we showed up at office to get the paperwork they initially stated that they did not take any paperwork from us. After further pushing stating that they did have the paperwork and it had been dropped at an attorney they called the office and surprise the paperwork was there.

He had some great tradesman that worked with him to take care of all of the little things that were preventing our home from selling before! We knew we were in good hands with him! Who were not under my management. My vm specially states to call the office if I can't be reached. I spent a lot of time marketing your property and showing many times. I do not recommend this property management service, especially the property manager Sandy Rowland…read more Clear Choice Homes service was slow, unresponsive, and unreasonable upon termination. Sandy rarely returned my calls and almost never answered her phone. I spoke with several prospective tenants and their calls were rarely returned in a timely manner. I listed my house with Clear Choice in June 2014 and as of August 2014 it remained unoccupied. Prior to this experience my house never remained unoccupied for more than two weeks. I asked to be released from my (1 year contract) given the poor performance, and was given a bill for $960 for "Advertising Expense, Marketing, Showing Property". No where in my management contract included a provision for termination fees, and every broker/manager in the area whom I spoke with believed this provision was entirely unreasonable. In conclusion, Clear Choice, and Sandy Rowland were an enormous disappointment. They combined poor service with unreasonable fees. I do not recommend them.
