The poor mother had rented from another state so being young she felt she didn't have much choice but to take it. Upon move out they had the nerve to charge $513 to clean the carpet upstairs. Yeah, the carpet they left dog shit on that smelled like cat piss. The square footage shouldn't have cost more than $165 at most. Truthfully they should have put new carpet down but hey what do you expect from a slumlord. Do not rent from this terrible person.

Directly across the street from the apartment building is a great Coffee and Bakery shop called Starch Cafe which has definitely brought a much needed hip vibe to Watertown without the Starbucks prices. Besides, the primary parking lot, we also have two other options for parking, which come in handy. Rob, the owner is always polite, courteous and attentive to our needs. Rent is affordable and the property, like Rob's dog Alex, well maintained and cared for.

He would stall and claim he could not reach his client, avoid answering questions, and set the final walkthrough for the morning of the closing. Then when significant new damage was discovered during the walkthrough, he blamed us, refused to negotiate for repair costs, had someone do a terrible coverup job, insulted us repeatedly, and threatened to sue if we did not go through with the initial offer. We had no say in who the seller picked as a realtor, but please do not give this slimeball any of your business! (I highly recommend Stephen Gleason and William Leepy from NNY Realty instead)

If I could give Jason Smith and his team no stars I would. Jason puts up a good front but will do nothing to help in selling your home. He walked into our home and informed us how beautiful it was and how it would sell really quickly. We ended up selling the house For Sale By Owner with our own sign out front and listing on Zillow as an FSBO. Jason will tell you exactly what you want to hear and makes lots of promises about what he is going to do to help sell your home but never follows through. There were many times that his colleague Lisa would come to the house to do an open house. When we would meet with her after the open house she wouldn't have much feed back for us and would just say it went well and she expected that we would see offers from the efforts. We would often times after showing ask for feedback about the house and Jason nor his team would have any kind of valuable constructive criticism. It would usually be something like "Yeah, they loved the house." "Ceilings were a little low upstairs but otherwise they loved it." There were also numerous times that we would attempt to make contact with Jason and it would take hours or days to get a response from him. Jason's communications skills are lacking. He is 100% a salesman of himself and his company but not of your house. After we discontinued our contract with Jason his office still had paperwork for our house that we needed in order to complete the sale of our house. We attempted to make contact with him for approximately 5 weeks. When we showed up at office to get the paperwork they initially stated that they did not take any paperwork from us. After further pushing stating that they did have the paperwork and it had been dropped at an attorney they called the office and surprise the paperwork was there.
