I paid $147 just for the service visit, and after looking at the washer, I was told he thought the problem was the shift actuator. For someone I hired as a professional, I expected an actual diagnosis not a guess. Even worse, the technician did not leave everything the way he found it. The drip line for my dehumidifier had been removed from the drain pipe, which resulted in water spilling everywhere. That is completely unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. Then I was quoted approximately $480 for the repair. My washer is only around $699 brand new at Lowe's. So I'm supposed to spend nearly $500 repairing an older washer based on a diagnosis that was essentially "I think this is the problem"? At that point, what is the justification for repairing it when a brand-new machine is only a couple hundred dollars more? For the amount I paid just to have someone come out, I expected a proper diagnosis, competent service, and for my home to be left in the condition it was found. I received none of that. Very disappointed. I would not recommend Becker's Appliances for appliance repair.

The technician answering the telephone was very pleasant. He gave me a choice of times. The initial time was later that same day I called! Another time was given in the event that the technician was unable to make the timeframe I first chose. The technician then later called to ask if he could come early!!! YES! He came out, explained thoroughly what the code mean and what he felt the issue was and fixed it immediately. He also explained another issue the code could mean but thought that it was only the fan issue and not a coolant issue. So he fixed it quickly and ensured I knew to call him should the issue reappear. I was very pleased with the honesty and integrity of the men in this company. They chose to do their business in honesty, not overcharging for service not necessary. Because I am an older woman, many companies seem to try to take advantage and overcharge. NOT THIS COMPANY!!! CALL THEM! I now have a fully functioning refrigerator that has been going strong. The whole cost was less than $100. The technician even gave me information on what to ask for at Home Depot/Lowes to fix the issue of re-hooking up the water line after the water line was moved during a downstairs complete remodel.

I contacted Sneath Appliance Services about a service call for my failing refrigerator. Nathan…read morecontacted me quickly to understand the symptoms and to explain his service rates. Nathan also understood that I was reluctant to spend money for a service visit/repair that could exponentially exceed the value of this 20+ year old refrigerator. As a result, he provided me with several troubleshooting tips that I performed to help narrow down the root cause of the issue. I was able to check these things the same evening and share updates with Nathan via text. Once again, he responded promptly (after hours), and determined that repairing this refrigerant leak was going to be expensive. I credit Nathan with saving me a lot of money to repair an old refrigerator and, at the very least, money saved for a service visit which would've resulted in the same answer. In conclusion, Nathan was polite, professional, and a great communicator. He didn't charge me for his remote troubleshooting or the pro-tips. I highly recommend Nathan at Sneath for servicing all your appliances.

We ordered a part for our gas stove intending to replace it on our own. When we got home and looked…read moreat the job it was decided we would call a professional instead. We never even took the part out of the box! The professional came 2 days later and promptly told us the part WAS BROKEN. Now we would not have known that, we would have assumed it wasn't the actual problem and bought another stove. The repair guy luckily had another with him, replaced it and was in and out in 20 minutes. We then went to B&K to return the BROKEN PART, and was only THEN informed of the no return policy. What kind of crap policy is that anyway? My husband was FORCED to exchange it for another part (THAT WE DONT NEED) in order to get SOMETHING BACK in the form of a refund. So now I'm stuck with an ignition switch for a gas stove, and forced to sell it on my own if I want the rest of my money back. Thieves and crooks is what they are. And it's a damn shame because they've always been good to deal with. I am done dealing with them. I will use someone else or Amazon or eBay from now on. Good luck staying in business with sh!tty service like that.
