Cant remember the exact wording. Im on disability. It took some time saving for this. Sweety helped out too.i added a $40 tip. My car was used by my bodfriend while i was in the hospital 3 weeks. Driving it to his construction site job.. eating in it while going to the hospital each day. Alabamas red dirt was ground into the drivers carpet and the red dust was on the dash and such. But he was told it job would cover EVERYTHING. Of course the usually cleaning and the seats shampooed and trunk done. Plus a wash for the outside. The outside, floors dash and middle console was great. The trunk was never even opened. I was called outside after they had partly done it.. asking " what was most important to me to be done" I found that a hard question to answer. It was obvious the promised job wasnt gonna go. I got that. But i thought it strange to offer such a without seeing it first. I didnt know how much longer it would take for what i was willing to SETTLE FOR to be done. They had already worked on it 2 hrs. The drivers side floors were vacuumed, dadh and console and some windows cleaned. He had a small vacuume. Dont know how strong it was but that had to take a lg part of the 2 hrs. All in all. The outside looks Great!. The floors and front seats and dash n such looks great. They earned their money no doubt. But the back seats has serious stains from hauling decorations and such frim the holidays and all. My bf will have to clean it. And the trunk. There was no trash or anything to work around. The windows needed a good going back over. And drivers mirror was no good. But you cant meet or hire anyone harder working or nicer. So. Its according to what all you need and maybe take pics to send them if its bad. I wish them great luck

My husband called a number of places with an hour drive and they either couldn't help us, or not for another day which was when we needed to be driving home to New Orleans. Terrapin seemed to want our business and actually came to us at the hotel after finishing their other jobs. He cleaned the backseat like new again, even didn't want to use the chemicals on my daughter's car seat in case they'd irritate her skin so asked to take her car seat home overnight to wash it for us. Brought the car seat cover back the next morning and we are happily and cleanly driving back to New Orleans now without a trace of vomit! VERY reasonably priced, especially for the service. I took my Conversion van in to be detailed at FGD on March 9, 2019. We had just purchased it and…read moreit was clean when I brought it in. The previous owner had smoked in it and we wanted it steamed cleaned, washed, waxed & detailed. Price quoted $160. I picked up the van on Friday, 3/11. Michael was still working on it when we arrived, hence it was in a garage stall where the lighting wasn't the best. He told us that the carpet was still wet and we would need to keep it in a garage that night with the windows cracked so it would finish drying. Only about 12 inches were cleaned at the back of the van. The reason I know that is that nothing was moved underneath the couch and there was a box under the coach next to where the "VERY" wet carpet was. When I mentioned it wasn't good to have that box on the carpet that was wet, he said it was OK. If the carpet had been done that box would have been soaked and you would have seen it had been wet. It was a box of brand new brake pads.) We followed his instructions and the next morning, Saturday, I went out to look the van over and to start moving our things in. While the step wells were "Armor-Alled" and the leather seats were wiped down with some "leather conditioner", I found MANY things that were NOT done. I showed up at his shop on Monday morning. He pulled in and I was right behind him. I told Michael that we had a problem. I started to show him all the things that I found. He kept accusing me of wanting "New", I told him "No, I just wanted it clean - that's what I paid for!" After wiping off the top of the inside of a door and seeing the dirt, he told me to bring it back the next day (Tuesday) and he would take care of it. I showed up the next morning. He had not arrived yet, so my husband & I waited. He showed up and we left the van. I picked it back up at 4:30, he was not there and took it home. Again, I started to move our things into the van and went over it and his "fixes" were very shoddy. See the pictures below. I tried to load a video of wiping down the dash next to the windshield but the file is too large. Just that one video would have said it all. At any rate, I will never go back to FDG/Michael. He did an absolute HORRIBLE job and is not a man of his word. Also, if you notice the two 5 star reviews were done in 2016 & 2017. The 1 star review was in 2018 and mine in 2019. Do yourself a favor, do it yourself and treat yourself to a steak dinner!
