We've been coming here for the past month and have generally enjoyed bowling here, especially the $19.99 unlimited bowling special. It's a great value, and the location is very convenient for us. Unfortunately, our last experience was frustrating. We were bowling next to two people who repeatedly approached and released their balls at the same time we were bowling. The man in particular would step onto the approach while I was preparing to bowl, which was distracting and made it difficult to concentrate. They also seemed unfamiliar with basic bowling etiquette. I eventually spoke with him politely and explained that the bowler on the adjacent lane should wait until the person who is already up has finished. Before doing that, however, we went to the front desk and asked if we could simply switch lanes. We were told there wasn't a lane available and that, because these weren't league bowlers, the staff wasn't going to enforce league etiquette. I understand that open bowling is different from league play, but basic courtesy between adjacent lanes should still matter. What was particularly frustrating was that after we had requested a lane change, the other couple apparently requested one and was given another lane. So the customers who had originally asked to move because of the problem were not accommodated, while the other customers were. We've had good experiences here otherwise, which is why this was disappointing. We don't expect staff to police every little thing during open bowling, but when customers are interfering with each other's turns, there should be some reasonable way for staff to help resolve the situation. If a lane becomes available, it seems fair that the customers who requested the change first should be given priority. We still like the alley and the value, but I hope management will take a look at how situations like this are handled during open bowling. read more

Had a great time today, Saturday afternoon. Really a lot of fun, took the two boys (11 and 8 years old) and aunt Jenni (40-something) met us. We bowled four games. And shoes. It seemed like alot of money, I think close to $115. But I'm really not sure what that's supposed to cost anymore. We did use two lanes since boys wanted bumper guards up, and I didn't. Since they have to pull up the guards with a metal rod, you can't have the guards go up or down per bowler on the same lane. Fortunately we were there early enough, before noon, to get in and bowl before the leagues and parties came in and started to crowd the place. There was a crazy kid being funny by bowling over his head which was mortifying. Another adult bowler spoke with him and he stopped. Would do it again, since they open at 10am, earlier would be better. And I would consider having a party here. The food served at the parties looked incredible. I wanted to sneak a chicken wing, but clearly would never. We did get a pretzel a coffee and a couple waters for $15 - pretzel and coffee were actually good. Staff were nice and really made it easy - which is an incredible thing these days given all the shortages of everything / everyone. read more

Great local place to take kids and family bowling. Brightly lit and clean, helpful and friendly staff. Had a good assortment of bowling balls to choose from even with a full blown birthday party going on. Pleasantly different then the idea of those dingy bowling alleys of years before. Gave it 4 stars because it is a bit pricey of an activity and the posted specials don't work for a typical family with young kids. Our bill was $115 for 2 games of bowling for our family of 5. I am hopeful that they will come out with some summer specials. Unlike other bowling alleys with comfortable bench seating its only tables and chairs which could use a little tlc but still a fun place for a family outing. read more

Their service doesn't even deserve a single star.. at least if you're colored that is. I went with my family, 6 adults and 4 children, all Caribbean decent. All we wanted to do was take the kids out for a fun time but we literally being gawked at from the moment we stepped in. The woman at the rental section was completely unwelcoming and had an attitude from the get-go. We waited almost an hour for 2 lanes and they didn't even want to serve us food. We didn't even reach the counter before the old man cooking told us very disgustingly that, "ohh just letting you know it's gonna be a while." Mind you every single white person and child around us were being tended to with respect and good hospitality. It's absolutely appalling that people still behave this way in 2022. I honestly think they should be shut down! Anybody supporting this place is actively supporting modern day racism!! read more

I've been to this location a couple of times with my co workers, because its conveniently by our job. It's not the best bowling alley I've been too but they have the friendliest workers there. The place is a bit outdated with decor , bowling machine quite slow, the bathrooms not as clean unfortunately. The food however is yum! Especially the wings so delicious lol. I come here with my husband and in-laws once a month for their Saturday bowling league. We've been participating in the league for the past 5 or so years. It's fun if you like friendly competition and getting out of the house. Every year, it seems like the fee goes up so that's not fun... As for the actual bowling alley, it's nice. They recently added some arcade games, such as Mario Kart, an air hockey table, Pac-Man, basketball, etc. The bar service can be pretty slow at times. We had a few bad experiences. They should get another bartender and another waiter, especially during league nights when everyone drinks. read more

Last Friday, we took a group of 34 kids here for a couple of hours of bowling and pizza. They had a great time and the staff were very helpful and accommodating all along the way. We had contacted the center weeks before and worked with Joanna Carmeci to finalize the headcount, pricing, etc. We had a lot of communication back and forth via emails and calls and she never failed to respond promptly. She was professional and friendly each and every time and was very accommodating when we needed to reschedule our initial date due to the residual effects of a storm, when we were uncomfortable with parents having to bring their young kids out. The bowling alley was not affected by the storm and was still open but they understood and didn't even hesitate to rebook us for a later date. Whenever I interacted with their GM, Chris Pierce, he was also very friendly and eager to make sure we were all set up and had everything we needed. He made sure the staff kept the soft drinks and juices coming even after dinner was over. He was hands on and present the night of, to make sure things were going well. They asked us if we would like to provide the kids' names in advance so that they could pre-program them into the scoreboards before we even got there. That was a nice touch and a time-saver too, espcially when you are trying to keep an eye on 34 kids in 6 different (adjacent) lanes. I really don't have any complaints. The kids had fun, food was served in a timely fashion, our lane assignements were convenient, and really anyone we dealt with was nice and accommodating. The parents were happy the kids had fun and that there were no mishaps - a blessing when you're talking about 34 preteen kids! I'd not hesitate to bring our group here again, or to come with a much smaller group of kids or adults. read more

Visit Date: April 3, 2015 So after my friend, her nephew and I ate lunch we were supposed to go for a walk but the weather wasn't cooperating so we settled for bowling instead. I decided to come here since it wasn't far from their home. It was a nice bowling alley, everything was clean and luckily it wasn't very busy. They offer food and drinks, we only had chocolate chip cookies but I didn't like them too much because they weren't soft enough for my taste. We bowled two games and they put the gutter guards on our lane which was very nice for us because we had higher scores than we would have had if the gutter guards weren't in place. I felt like the price was a little steep for three people to bowl and get shoes but let's be real the price is steep for almost everything in NY now. I'm not a bowling person as a hobby so my review is just based on being here to have a little bit of fun. read more

The best bowling alley in my opinion. This bowling alley is way more affordable then others around and the staff is amazing. They have great league options and many are affordable. Also, if you are in a league, you get two free games per week as well as 2.99 dollar games at any day or time including weekends. Gloria is an amazing bartender and is always so nice. Their pretzels with honey mustard are also absolutely delicious. The lanes are really nice and they just redid some of the inside of the bowling alley so it's really nice in here but still gives you that 80s old time bowling feel. They also have a bowling pro-shop located inside if there are any bowling items you may need. Also threw a birthday party here for my dad last year, and the service was great and the catered food was also really good. Everyone had a great time and everything went very smoothly. Chris at the front desk is also super friendly and helpful. Everyone who works here is genuinely so nice and good people. They also have a summer pass that as long as you bowl before 8pm on week days and 6pm on weekends, you can bowl 3 games for free which ends up being a great great deal. I love this bowling alley. Been in leagues here for over two plus years with my boyfriend, dad, and uncle and no other bowling alley is nearly as good as this one. read more

I know what you're thinking...who cares enough to review a bowling alley...and twice?! This girl must be nuts... I may be a little wacky, but this place lost a lot of its appeal for me. Went last week with a group of 5 people. All you can bowl from 9-midnight is supposed to be $12. It even said so on the website. But apparently because it was school break, they charged us $17. Girl at the counter had a serious attitude. All 5 of us were stuck on one lane even though it was pretty dead. No music played or lights out. Come on, $17 should get me some tacky ambience. Had an amazing experience here on Tuesday night ! Looking for some good quality fun, look no further. Food was great, we had wings and tacos! Tacos were 2.22 on special on Tuesdays! They have an extensive bar. Staff was super friendly and accommodating as we waited for lanes to be available. Games were cheaper than normal on Tuesday nights after 8 pm. Drinks specials too! 5 Stars Isn't enough for the experience my family and I had for my sons 10th birthday party along with his best friends! After speaking with Dominique from corporate I believe,I was totally sold on what they were offering, when we arrived we were greeted by a lovely young lady by the name of "Andrea", right off the bat I knew we were in good hands!We were already set up at lanes 13& 14 and they had beautiful tables dressed up with party goods for my son and an area right behind the seating for the food which consisted of delicious chicken fingers,sauces and lil pizza pies which was surprisingly very good for bowling alley quality! I'm Italian so it matters! LOLAnyways once my sons little friends arrived they were treated to unlimited bowling with bumber stoppers and they all had a blast playing! It was good competition as they kept score, all the kids and even in the adults enjoyed all the food!Andrea was just so fantastic waiting on us and super friendly! We had everything we needed from the food to the unlimited soda & juice and she even had her son Angelo tend bar for the adults, kindest and professionalism must run in the family, it was a pleasure dealing with both of them and they really made for an enjoyable worry free experience! All the kids finished up with an ice cream station and a homemade cookie birthday cake! The arcade rooms were fun for all of them as well, the bathrooms and entire place was clean and well laid out w good clientele,and all in all it was just a fabulous birthday party thanks to this location's highly competent employees, cleanliness and top-notch service as well as the tasty food! I went with a group of 5 people this bowling alley. It ended up costing us $80 for two games which is ridiculous. The cashier was extremely nasty to my group because we didn't rent shoes and refused to pay for a shoe rental. The place is relatively run down, the manager's cruel attitude was uncalled for and very unprofessional, and we were overall very unsatisfied so we will not be returning. read more

Lanes are kept up fairly well, nice atmosphere, friendly people who work here, and friendly people who bowl in the leagues. My only criticism is that it's a hard house to bowl well in! I average a 215 - 220 in ANY other bowling alley that I've bowled in, yet for some reason, I can barely average a 210 at Wantagh. Lanes are difficult at times, but I love the challenge! read more

This is an above average suburban bowling alley. We bowl in here in a league one a month. It's s lot of fun and the waitress, Michelle, is great. She always knows our order; a pitcher for me and big bowls for the girls. The good is above average for an alley too. Minus one star for letting the church parishioners across the street use their lot on Sunday's when atheists want to bowl. Update 3/26/16 At our last league night there was no waitress so we had to go directly to the bar to get drinks which should be fine. The bartender was missing one of the ingredients for a drink I ordered and said she had to go run and get it and she would bring the drinks over to our lane. However after 10 mins I notice she is just serving other customers and not thinking about the drinks we already ordered before them. After 20 mins I went to ask her and she says you are "next." However after another 20 minutes I had to complain again while she was still waiting on every other customer besides me. She was overwhelmed but it was terrible service as she basically just ignored us because some grenadine was in the back room. read more

The woman flirted with teen boys and refused service to us when we asked to use bumpers for our game due to us being "too old" when it was meant for an accommodation as my friend is visually impaired. DO NOT GO HERE literally the biggest scam ever. I have been to this bowling alley plenty of times with friends and with my boyfriend over the years during the peak hours on a friday or Saturday night and we were always charged by the hour, with the price never exceeding above $15 per person. However, I went there tonight with my boyfriend, and we will deff not be going to this bowling alley ever again. At the front desk, the women Debbi asked if it was just us 2 and for our shoe sizes and she gave us our shoes and a lane to go to. I had my card out ready to give to her and pay right then and there BEFORE we started bowling, and she brushed us of and told us "pay me at the end." Since I have been there countless times, I figured it's no big deal to pay at the end. My boyfriend and I only bowled for an hour and played 3 games. The total came out to $60 for ONLY 2 PEOPLE. We questioned the front desk lady about this and she said they charge per shoe pair, per person, per game. Everytime I go here I'm ALWAYS charged per hour except for this time. In addition, on my receipt it says she charged us for "6 weekend premium games" meanwhile my boyfriend and I only played 3 games together in the same lane. If she informed me on the price it costed in the beginning when I offered to pay then and there, my boyfriend and I would of never bothered to bowl here for 60$. It was the managers due diligence to inform the customer on the pricing or of any deals and specials that are or ARE NOT going on that night. Yeah, I could of asked her in the beginning what the price was, but like I said, I've been here so many times over the years and never had it ever be this expensive, deals or no deals going on. If I'm being honest this place is not covid friendly, I didnt see hand sanitizer anywhere and no one was cleaning the balls or shoes. I've never left a poor review anywhere, (and I'm all about writing positive reviews for local businesses i love) but the manager Debbie here is beyond rude, and obnoxious. In a time like this she doesn't care about anything. She is rude and I wouldn't hire her for any of the businesses I own. My family and I played 5 games from 6:30 to 9 pm and paid $300. I then asked her to continue to play for the unlimited games on Monday for $14.99. She was beyond rude, obnoxious and asked me to pay an additional $14.99 a person for the additional game, only 2 people wanted to play. I have been here before and would say it's a 3 to 4/5 and now I would rate this place a 0.05/5 stars. Rude people in a time like this shouldn't work at a family fun place like this. I have been coming here for years. I used to be in a league here when I was a child, and although I am no longer a regular, its always nice to come back for a few games. The staff is super friendly and the lanes are kept in good condition. The time you visit will influence the business of the alley, but they are usually pretty good about getting you on a lane with minimal or no wait. Overall I would recommend this venue for a day visit or a night out with friends. read more

OMG NO I HATED THIS PLACE. I went here with my friends friday night. The place wasnt packed but wasnt empty. The food was ok...... It wasnt the best food the chicken taco was nasty and the krazy dough was tough as a rock on the outside but warm on the inside. The chicken fingers and fries were fine.
