This is a spectacular place to bring your child! The new owner has provided a place filled with fantasy and fun at an excellent price. I have a 2.5 year old and she is on love with Anthony the puppet master. We went to the New Years Eve eve ball and saw Ana and Elsa sing...I even cried it was so amazing to see them so close lol. We had a story time, ate pizza and danced with ana and elsa, picture time, a puppet show and craft time all for $40. I would have paid more! Booking her 3 year old party there without hesitation!!!

We took a risk and booked our daughter's 4th birthday party here because we knew it had been recently taken over by new ownership. I can only say that this place is AMAZING!! The entire experience was simply magical. The staff was fantastic with the kids, and made my daughter feel really special as the birthday girl. All the other parents loved it as well - we had so many compliments after for holding such a perfect birthday party. Ignore the bad reviews which were from the previous owner - this theatre is incredible and you will not be disappointed. We will definitely be back to see a puppet show in the near future!

5 stars for someone who is living their dream and entertaining Long Island families at the same time. This puppet theater is a true labor of love for the owners who have poured their hearts and souls into preserving and cultivating the art of puppetry. The outside of the place is cute but does nothing to prepare you for waits within. Every inch of this place from floor to ceiling has been intricately decorated to create a truly magical environment. One wall features a huge display of the owners puppet collection from all over the world. This main room serves as the waiting area before shows, includes the ticket window and souvenir stand and I believe also is used for parties. Beyond this room is the main puppet theater which features wooden benches for seating and a room that again every square inch is decorated. The puppet shows are generally around 45 minutes and afterward the kids can dance and meet some of the puppets. The owners have such passion for what they are doing that it's infectious and you'll feel like a little kid again. Pricing is $12 per person cash, $13 with credit. Plenty of parking in the area. If you show up and the door is locked, just knock and they will let you in. The website lists all the shows, running several times a day, usually they have 2 or 3 different shows. This place is great for toddlers/pre-schoolers.

I love the fact that you can visit their website: http://dreamlandamusements.com/upcoming-events-amusement-carnival/#broadway-carnival (for example) and print coupons or take advantage of the pre-sale wristband & ride ticket specials. We usually go right when they open at noon on the weekends to avoid the crowd and stay for about 2 hours or so. This place can get really crowded especially at night. My kids go on all the rides they wanna go on with tickets (4 to 6 tickets per ride), play games ($5-$10 per game) and get food (both cash only). Besides the hot foods, funnel cake, cotton candy and candy apples/ caramel apples is a must! Until next year...

The old-school phones are always a fun classic, and they absolutely loved the animal section upstairs. La estación de las burbujas siempre es un clásico y una de sus favoritas. Lots of interactive exhibits, play areas and the obligatory climbing structure. Will inevitably be busy like most things on Long Island. Staff is friendly enough however mostly in the background. It was trains when we were there, themed to Thomas the train with both a ton of tracks to play with, as well as life sized Thomas train characters. Had to drag my son out of there, however luckily their gift shop is decent with legitimate toys versus just cheap crap. Would definitely come back here.

We were allowed into the room 15 minutes before the party started to set up our decorations, including tablecloths and balloons, which made the space look great. The staff member was very nice, and we had two people assigned to help us throughout the event. The kids started with 30 minutes of supervised jumping and had a blast! Afterward, we headed to laser tag; the TVs weren't working, so we couldn't see the scores, but the kids still had a lot of fun. Then, we went to the party room for pizza. The two staff members seemed to be struggling a bit, so I offered to help out, but my guests still had a wonderful experience and no one complained. A tip was already included in the package, but we gave the staff a little extra on the side for their hard work. Once the party ended, the kids were able to stay and play in the arcade for a while. Choosing the 7:00 PM time slot was perfect because the place wasn't crowded, we practically had the whole facility to ourselves! I would definitely recommend this place for parties, especially for older kids.

I have NEVER seen this place run the way it was on Saturday, August 22. We arrived around 7:45 PM and paid FULL PRICE, yet multiple attractions were already closed or had nobody working them. The bumper cars were closed, another attraction my daughter wanted to use had no employee operating it, and the attraction with the hanging seats was basically shut down. Parents were pushing their own children until an employee came over and told them it was closed for the night. There was also nobody properly directing the dodgeball area. Laser tag was closed as well, although I'm not sure if that was due to renovations. Then around 8-something I tried to get my daughter a slushy and was told that was closed too. The MAIN bathroom was closed, so everyone was being directed to the family bathroom, which was absolutely disgusting. What I don't understand is how you can advertise that you're open until 10 PM on a Saturday, charge families full admission, and then have multiple attractions and services unavailable more than TWO HOURS before closing. Their own website currently advertises Saturday hours until 10 PM and lists several of these attractions as part of admission. (Empire Adventure Park) I spoke to the manager on duty because there appeared to be plenty of employees around, yet so many areas either had no one working them or were already closed. I'm not a first-time customer who doesn't know how this place normally operates. I've been coming here for two years, which is exactly why this visit stood out so much. If customers are paying full price, the attractions included with that admission should be available during operating hours, or customers should be informed BEFORE paying that they will have limited access. I have already contacted upper management and requested an explanation and appropriate compensation. This was extremely disappointing, especially coming from a place we have enjoyed and supported for years.

We quickly realized the room was too small to safely throw the glass. Because the space was so narrow, anything thrown at the wall shattered and sent glass pieces flying back at us. We did use safety goggles and face guards, but feared it would end up in our hair. The only way we could safely throw the glass, was into the corner. It often took several tries to break some items, since using enough force caused shards of glass to come back towards us. We tried using the bat, but had same issue. The room really needs to be a good 15-20 feet wide to provide a better and safer experience. Regardless, this is only my review, I am sure others have had a different experience.
