He does everything by himself including moving your furniture and never takes a break. He gives you a heads up each day regarding what he plans on doing the next day so you can shuffle whatever you need to from room to room. We have a 2,100 square foot house and the entire project only took a week. We highly recommend them and will definitely be using them in the future when we're ready to refinish our basement. My dad had…read moreoriginally found a different floor guy but when they said they wanted to delay the job, I turned to Yelp and I'm so glad I did because I found J&M! Within minutes of putting out the Yelp request, Jimmy messaged back immediately with a quote after requesting a few more pieces of info and then offered to come see the home the next morning. Keep in mind this was late at night after our original floor guy fell through. I told him I did not want any more delays and wanted the job to be done in one day. Jimmy promised that and when he came to see the home, we agreed upon a great price. The day after, he brought a crew of 4 other men to the house early in the AM (30 min earlier than they said they would!) and worked for 8 hours straight! And the whole house was done, just as he promised (about 1000 sq ft). They were incredibly efficient and professional. We were very pleased with the outcome, although we did notice that certain parts of the trim were not adhered well so we had to patch that up afterwards. Other slight things were that they did not bring a broom or any cleaning things, which I found odd considering that these sorts of jobs are very messy. All in all, professional, efficient, hardworking, and very competitive pricing. It was great working with them!

They communicated well with me when quoting, before, and during the cleaning. I also liked that they were friendly and considerate, using an ask first approach when unsure about something. With my limited Spanish, I could understand them conversing about being careful with certain items. I'm happy to be J&M's first Yelp review and I'm glad their nascent presence on Yelp didn't sway me. I hope they get much more business soon.

No surprises except how much a simple change altered these rooms.
