I've been here several times throughout the years. The salsa is good.. the sweet tea is good.. the White queso is good.. and today I took a leap of faith to try their street tacos. Street tacos at a country Tex mex place is a risk. However.. they did not disappoint! I chose carne asada tacos. Make sure they bring out the cilantro. They tried to serve them up without. They were delicious! I will probably start ordering this every time I'm in town now!

Arrived at my table seconds after sitting down.

For a restaurant in a town like New Boston (small East Texas town) this place is exceptional! Pros: Service: fast and friendly; extremely fast! Food: decent quality and well priced Alcohol: only place in town that serves hooch; the Long Island ice tea (8$) was hard to finish (in a happy intoxicated way:) Atmosphere: clean and neat design Cons: Salty: carne asada with shrimp That's it! And my food could've been an experiential occurance. Would recommend to anyone passing through.

Amazing food, amazing service, fast and it was weird to see Mexican restaurant but no Spanish ppl there not even servers, wait staff, not even costumers but loved their food. I ordered mojito but the waitress said they don't have mint, I changed my mind and had a margaritas, ufff that was one of heck margarita I ever had. It's hiding between DQ & Pizza Hut but I bet this restaurant do more business then all those.

Food was not good. I was very disappointed. If you go to drink great and maybe if your drunk the food might taste better.

Worst restaurant I've ever been in. The whole place was extremely dirty. I would never recommend going to the one in new Boston to anyone!

Once we sat, we saw one other table of 4 people inside. It took 15 minutes for her to come out with salsa and chips and then she took our drink order. Sweet tea was good and topo chico was available. We ordered chicken fajitas, beef fajitas and chicken enchiladas. Their saving grace were the crispy chips and fresh salsa. Every time the door at entrance opened there is a VERY loud, startling beeping sound. It took over 45 min to get our food. Unfortunately, portions were lunch size and food was bland. Our server was confused and served the chicken fajitas stating they were steak. She brought out one plate at a time with 10 min in between each plate so everything was lukewarm warm by the time we finally got tortillas at the very end. All the staff seemed distracted by the rain storm. The tv inside the restaurant had "Bluey" cartoon on. I would not recommend this place unless you want to wait an hour and prefer bland Mexican food and a very casual atmosphere. We had to walk up to get our check. Very disappointed because other people's reviews sound very positive but unfortunately we did not have that experience today.

Brenda L was the server who took my order. Per their suggestion I ordered the birria tacos which came with rice, beans, toppings and then a side of chips and salsa. The tacos were okay. I think coming from Texas I'm just used to food being more seasoned, but the meat was tender and the portions were generous. Now usually at a taco joint either the green or red salsa will be on the milder, less spicy side but here ?? If you like heat then you're in for a treat because oh my lord LOL. The biggest downside of the visit were the restrooms. The smell in the men's room was atrocious. It literally almost made me vomit. I was told that the women's restroom was the same. If you know you know. This place is okay. Good rice. Right around Albuquerque, New Mexico you hit the Tex-Mex wall and people start doing weird stuff with white cheeses. The queso modified cheese food product flows freely. Disappointed that the veggies in my veggie burrito were frozen from a bag and the beans had that Smokey meat taste which is also a Tex-Mex wonder. Ugh, ya'll eat bbq too much. So, it is my fault that I ordered a random thing in a rural part of Arkansas. But honestly, where is the salsa at? Maybe it's time to keep your cheese drizzle and try a little fresh salsa drizzle. You might like it. Luckily we travel with salsa on us. Cause we're flippin weirdos okay, and again, it's burrito culture. The other thing I will say, is maybe there was some kind of plumbing issue but the whole restaurant smelled like urine. Like a dirty bathroom floor. And I know that's not how tex mex cheese is supposed to smell... so.. do with that what you will.
