I found Amigo's and chose them from them as they were highly rated with great reviews. I hardly ever find it necessary enough to take time out of my busy work schedule to review a…read morebusiness, but I found it necessary to do so to review McHenry Cab Co. Inc. Every year my husband and I attend a charity pub crawl in downtown McHenry, in the past we have always had rides but this year we needed to make other arrangements. We called McHenry Cab Co. for a drop off & a pick up. The level of customer service that this suburban cab company provided surpassed every single cab and/or private car service that I have ever used, and I have used A LOT. The driver was on time for pick up, he was very attentive to our evening plans wanting to make sure that he knew all of the information so he could pick us up appropriately. His cab was clean and smelled nice. His driving was exceptional and not abrasive at all. He was very personable in his conversation with us as passengers. When 1am came around we were where we were supposed to be and so was he, fielding off other pub crawlers trying to get into his cab. Telling them he was very sorry but already had passengers scheduled to be taken home, offered them one of his co-workers numbers. The ride home was just as pleasant as the ride there. I can honestly say that this company and this driver provide 100% customer service. When people book cab or car companies they are relying on that driver to be there and get them home safely and Felix, with McHenry Cab Co. did just that! Thank you again Felix for being reliable, for being approachable in conversation and for providing excellent service. After this experience I would recommend this company to anybody.

I spoke with Sal and explained that we needed pickup from Chicago to O'Hare with 2 car seats. He…read moresaid he could do it and arrange pickup and we would still have plenty of space for luggage and a stroller. Driver showed up in a minivan with the car seats. Smooth and safe drive despite all the construction on the Kennedy and we arrived on time. Driver helped unload and made sure we had everything. They took CC through their phone app with a tap and I got an emailed receipt. I also booked them coming back and told them we needed the same setup. Sal was responsive and made sure the driver was there. Our flight was delayed but the driver was still there. Same charge and great driver with the car seats strapped in by the fire department. They were rock solid.

Taxi rate calculators estimated $7-$9 for the ride, so I expected similar cost. We the called back to confirm a car on the way, they took payment. To my surprise it was $36. A second surprise came when the car picking me up was an Uber. So apparently, they used my $36 to book me an $8 Uber ride. The Uber driver was also surprised.

The driver texted me 10 minutes before he arrived (at 2:30am on a Sunday) and then kept me entertained for the rest of the ride to the airport. I appreciated this because I knew I'd have to be up for TSA. He was really cordial and nice. What matters to me is the reliability of a car service and this establishment didn't disappoint - from the reservations made to the drop off at O'Hare. You really don't need a fancy limo - this is both affordable and down to Earth. From Wonder Lake to O'Hare was $70 without tip. Thoroughly enjoyable and comfy.

He is always on time. Yesterday, March 18 when Khan picked me at O'Hare, my flight was delayed by almost an hour and on top of that, my luggage went missing. Poor Khan waited for me patiently and still manage to show not a single sign of attitude. Khan is still nice, patient and very professional after all the wait that he did for me. Not only that Khan has the best price in the area, he is very reliable and I told myselfI will be his regular customer whenever I need a ride. Oh I must add, Khan is a very safe driver, his car is very reliable and always very clean. I am also enjoying talking to Khan about his family and future plan in life.
