Besides being professional, efficient, not costly, takes reservations (you can wait in their waiting room; coffee and water FREE), their most important quality is their INTEGRITY. Friday I took a flat tire with a big bolt in the middle of the tire. I called them up and asked if they could look at it. I figured "new" tire ($150-200) and I would have to wait till Monday. But Jeff and his mechanics, checked the tire out and the tire was repairable (fixed it from the inside/out), so within 30 minutes I was back on the road, didn't even get to finish my coffee... Another time, we thought the fan motor on the heat/air system was ready to go bad, $$$$ (2004 Honda Odyssey), so I went in for an oil change and asked for them to look at the fan motor. Well lo and behold, Jeff tells me, when I was checking out, that the fan was FINE, it was just some "debris" (leaves, etc.) had been sucked into the fan area, so they remove the debris and again, minimal $$ and the fan is fully operational for the summer. Brought in my car and my buddy's car to get diagnosed, I told them prior that I cleared the codes on my car, and it said that the o2 sensor was throwing the codes. I got my car a couple days later and they said my car was fine, and I paid $140 for my cars engine light to be on again a day later:| and with my buddy's car... I paid ANOTHER $140 for them to tell me that it just needed a new engine... thanks ! It's like I told them that when I brought the car in. They failed to mention that it had a HUGE exhaust leak, and a failed o2 sensor which I found out when when I brought it to another shop. The exhaust leak was so bad I don't know how they didn't notice? I guess they never actually looked at the entire car. Just the top of the engine bay. Well end of story, I wasted $280 for them to tell me what I literally told them when I gave them the cars to get diagnosed. read more

I called to see if my car could be fit in for a Maryland safety inspection. A very pleasant woman answered the phone, put me on hold briefly and said "Bring it in!" The check in process was very pleasant and welcoming. Honestly the friendliest woman was in the office taking payments and scheduling. Refreshingly pleasant. Nice comfortable seating area. Chatted with the friendliest customers while waiting. Seems as though people have been going to them for many years. When the mechanic came out with my paperwork, he explained the inspection information was also sent electronically to the Maryland DMV. My car passed! If I ever need work on my car, I'll be heading to the eastern shore of MD. Once I find a place I trust and like, there's no letting go! The clincher? I recommend this place to my dad, he's a former mechanic himself. read more
