Our pool was painted three years ago and the estimator said "Right out of the gate we have to charge you $4K to remove the paint." I didn't say anything just listened to him. About 15 minutes later, he says the company that removes the paint charges $3K. So I asked him is it $4K or $3K? He knew he just admitted the company pads the subcontractor bill by 33%. Also, they never gave me an estimate. I called and reminded them but never got one. I'm grateful because I went with Affordable Pools and they were excellent.

I hired Express Pools to fill and service my brand-new PebbleTec pool, a project that cost me over $20,000. This was just 1.5 years ago. Since the install, Express Pools has been the only company to touch the pool. Recently, I discovered extensive scaling on not only the PebbleTec finish but also on the pool tiles, indicating this was not a product issue, but likely a maintenance failure. When I contacted the owner, he dismissed it as a PebbleTec problem, despite visible scaling on the tiles. I reviewed surveillance footage and discovered that the pool technician was often on-site for less than two minutes. This raises serious concerns about the quality and consistency of care. I was promised months ago that this would be addressed by the owner. To date, nothing has been done. As a result, I now have costly damage that is not covered under warranty. On top of that, we recently hosted my child's birthday party, and several kids left in tears with burning, bloodshot eyes. I was mortified. This company has been negligent, unresponsive, and dismissive. I hope this review spares another family from the same stress and financial loss.

We still deal with…read moreUNEVEN FOUNTAINS because they admitted to skimping out on plumbing and putting our deck jets on one plumbing line with one valve instead of 2, meaning the first fountain closest to the valve gets all the pressure and the second one is very noticeably lower in height because it gets less pressure. Our feet continue to get TORN UP in the pool because they sold us the pebble sheen but put in something MUCH COURSER which destroys everyone's feet. The bottom is SO SO ROUGH! Our concrete continues to be a huge issue and we will eventually have to have it redone or add a French drain because it is SO UNEVEN on one side that rain just sits and creates a complete mess! The roof they put in continues to leak like crazy as it did immediately after completion. People that come over to our home are appalled at the work of this company!
