This is the best property to rent in the Uptown neighborhood. Every staff member has been great, and they only hire amazing people. Office staff, maintanence crew, security guards, cleaning staff, even the mailman, are all extremely friendly and helpful people. Maintenance will go out of their way to fix issues or even help you with projects in your apartment. At one point the office staff assisted in catching a vehicle thief that was terrorizing the whole neighborhood. In over 2 years of living here I've never had a single issue that wasn't resolved immediately. My rent stayed the same for my second year and only went up slightly for my third. Social events happen pretty much monthly, and are always a good time. The neighbors are pretty respectful in general. Most everything else you can find out by touring the property: large floorplans with walk-in closets, beautiful courtyard and terrace, secure package locker, etc. Groceries, restaurants, bars, pharmacy, liquor stores, dispensaries, and music venues are all very walkable. Easy biking distance from City Park and Cheesman. AMLI both owns and operates the property, this is a major advantage over the exercise in frustration that is dealing with a contracted management company. read more

We lived at AMLI our last three years in Denver, at a time when we really didn't think we would even stay. Honestly, if you are looking in the Uptown area, it's the only property I can recommend. Their floor plans are much larger and spacious than newer buildings in the area, and the staff provides a high level of customer service I've never experienced in a rental property. Angie, Ashley and Anna go above and beyond, and truly care about the residents in the building (and their dogs! Tinsley misses her morning visits and neck scratches from Miss Angie). Cody and Lane are the best maintenance team and issues will be resolved in record time. Sofia is an absolute rockstar who keeps the property sparkling clean and always has a warm cheerful greeting on our morning walks (hot tip- she also has treats for the resident puppers!) My husband and I both have disabilities and accessible housing has always been a challenge, after living at another very distinctly named "Uptown" property for four years and never receiving what we needed to feel safe or at home at the property, AMLI went above and beyond to make sure we had a unit that met our needs, provided our modifications within record time, and even thought of things we didn't even request that would make our lives easier. We transferred units during our time there, and every step of our transition was seamless, as was our final move out this summer. Our pod company (Upack- BEWARE OF THEM!) was an absolute nightmare, and the office staff kept me posted of what was happening, even after we had moved out, and never made me feel stressed about moving out. The property is well maintained, the pool is glorious and AMLI truly operates as a community, with events and neighbors getting to know each other. Unfortunately, there are things that are beyond AMLI's control that led to our leaving Denver. Like so many things, the Uptown area has changed significantly during COVID and it was not an area we wanted to stay in as the cost of living continued to climb. We have been residents of AMLI Park Avenue going on 6 years now. The uptown location is convenient for walking to all downtown destinations: Statehouse, Coors Field, Art Museum, 16th Mall & all those fantastic restaurants (affordable & otherwise). There is an excellent above ground parking garage & once you get on the road your access to l-70 & I-25 is convenient. The building is in excellent physical shape with a skilled maintenance staff keeping it that way. In apartment repair requests are always promptly & professionally acted upon. And you do not need a gym membership. There is an excellent gym on the 6th floor with an abundance of equipment for aerobic & resistance training. Highly responsive in situ facility general management is always accessible in person & electronically. This is most definitely a 5 Star residence. read more

Unhappy after our year here. The renewal rate they offered us was significantly higher than the rate they ended up leasing it to new tenants the next month. They showed up for an inspection without any notice after we sent in our intent to vacate. I felt the move out charges were excessive, extra cleaning fees for the oven and tub. Well, I hate to do this, but my feelings toward this place just plummeted. My husband and I are going to buy a house. Buying a house, especially in Denver, is a difficult, unpredictable process. Between finding a house and closing time, it's very difficult to time everything with the end of your lease. So, I went to the leasing office to determine our options. I was told the following: - I have to give 60 days notice of move out, so I have to submit a written intent to vacate on November 26 so that we aren't charged an extra month of rent after our lease ends on January 26. This puts a TON of pressure on us to find a house if we haven't found one by November 26. - I cannot break my lease for any reason. Most complexes will allow you to break your lease for a fee, but apparently not AMLI. - I cannot sublet my apartment to sign my lease over to any other applicant for any reason. This means that if we find a house and close before January 26, we get to enjoy continuing to pay rent in this building while it sits completely empty. Most apartment complexes allow you to sign your lease over to someone else by "finding your own replacement". The replacement still needs to be approved by the leasing office, and if they are, they simply take over the remaining portion of your lease. Besides the administrative work to have the person approved, for which there's an application fee, it literally costs complexes nothing to allow us to do this. I don't understand why AMLI can't allow this option. - If we don't sign a new lease or submit an intent to vacate letter by November 26, we'll be assigned a month-to-month lease in which our rent will increase by about $600 per month. This rate is not negotiable for any reason, despite the fact that we've lived in an expensive unit in this building for close to 2 years. I've had several other buildings in the past negotiate with me on their month-to-month lease rate. Basically, they're going to screw us out of money in one way or another. I was repeatedly told, "we just like to treat everyone the same" but to me, that translated to, "we just like to steal everyone's money the same." It breaks my heart because I otherwise loved living here. The leasing office has always been so nice and flexible, but apparently that ends when you're trying to leave. I will definitely take some responsibility because I signed the lease, but that doesn't make this okay. I mean, what if you lost your job or lost a good portion of your monthly income for some other reason? You'd be LOCKED into the remainder of your lease with absolutely NO way to get yourself out and save your remaining finances. While it seems to be a good price for what you get, rent ISN'T cheap here. It's unreasonable that AMLI strips its residents of ANY options. Sorry AMLI, but I no longer recommend living here. read more

When I moved across the country this was my first apartment in Denver. The AMLI park ave staff was always incredibly polite and professional. They answered every question I had almost immediately and were even there for me when I would get locked out of my apartment. Choosing to move here definitely enhanced my first year living in Denver as I felt very comfortable and safe living in this building. The building is located very close to some amazing restaurants, a grocery store, a nice upper scale liquor store, and just minutes away from The concert halls on Colfax ave. Literally the best complex I've ever lived in, and I've lived in a lot over the past 15 years. The front office staff (Angie, Ashley) are AMAZING and so responsive and helpful. My parents visited me from Texas recently and they commented that not only was this place one of the nicest communities I've lived in, but that they felt I was very safe and secure in a popular neighborhood. Not only is this location walkable to so many shops and restaurants (not to mention grocery stores!), I feel like it's really central to all the Denver options (zoo, botanical garden, parks, breweries, etc). The entire AMLI team is so responsive and usually my maintenance requests (not that there are many or that they are anything more than a cabinet being loose for example) get resolved the same day I entered the request. The housekeeping team is also great and it's wonderful walking down the hallways and seeing it pristine. Overall I cannot recommend this place enough! As someone who moved here out of state, the transition was seamless and I owe that to AMLI! read more

I've lived here for almost a year and it has been by far the best apartment complex experience I've ever had! The common spaces are always clean, the pool area is quiet and well-maintained, and the location is perfect! The best part about living here is the amazing staff, though. The uptown neighborhood location is ideal. We are with walking distance of the Capitol, City Park, Coord Field, Safeway & several excellent restaurants. You can go $ Mexican to $$& French depending on your mood. There are multiple venues for watching your favorite NFL, NBA, MLB & NHL team. There are multiple ways to get to DIA, we always use Uber. Our experience is 40 to 45 minutes. The residential community is diversified, millennials to seniors. Seniors not ready for 55 & over will find AMLI Park Avenue quite agreeable if not at times stimulating. read more

Six years ago we found a furnished apartment in Denver's AMLI Park Avenue that was available and perfect for some short-term needs, and we found the building's staff to be outstanding and competent assistants for our housing needs. When we opted to keep an apartment in Denver, we looked at more than a dozen other options in the surrounding area, and decided to rent a larger unit in the AMLI. After four years we moved away - away from Denver for those two years; but when we opted to return, we chose not even to look at other options: the AMLI still had wonderful staff, a great location, reasonable rents, and great amenities: the pool, the hot tub, the common spaces and the roof terrace; the secure package delivery room, the pet-friendly policies, and the secure parking. We're back, we're happy, and we're staying with the AMLI. No other rental property in the region comes close to what the AMLI has to offer. read more

This is the most well-managed apartment complex I've ever lived in. Maintenance is quick to complete requests and will even do courtesy requests like helping you install ceiling fans and curtain rods. I always feel safe here and management takes the necessary measures to add additional security when things happen in the area. It's really nice to have guest parking and the Luxer package system is great too. The common areas are clean and they have free printing and some good places to work or study. The gym isn't very big, but it is updated and would definitely do for a quick workout. I really like that we can have grills on our balconies too! The staff are all super friendly, helpful, and quick to resolve any issues. Cassie, Anna, and the maintenance staff have all been great. We have had only pleasant experiences with them throughout the leasing process, move in, and living here. We had a small leak one day when we first moved in, and they even offered to bring us a Tupperware to catch the water until maintenance could fix it. They are great. We hardly ever hear or see our neighbors, and the other residents all seem respectful and quiet. The most noise we ever experience are sirens due to the nearby hospital or some loud people hanging out near the Safeway-that plaza seems to draw an odd crowd. The location is nice too. It's doable to walk or bike to downtown, Colfax, or restaurant row, and there are a few restaraunts right downstairs including an ice cream shop and coffee bar. Overall, it's a great community and I would recommend it to those looking to live in this area! read more

I have originally rented a 2 bedroom apartment and moved in with my friend, after couple months we have decided to get a 1 bedroom apartment each. I have paid a $400 transferring fee, and another $850 for the 15 days difference, which is absolutely fine because it was my request to move. 1 month after I was already in my new apartment I got an email that there was a stain on my carpet, and I got charged $625 for carpet replacement. I was told that picture of stain is attached, and it wasn't. When I went to the office 3 days after, I was told that that amount was already deducted from my account ,since I have paid 1 rent in advance, even though I have never agreed to that. Right after I gave 60 days notice and paid 1 more month worth of rent as a penalty fee. I have moved out on the 1/14th, and today, I get an email with invoice of $130 on top of my $300 deposit that was never refunded, which is another $430 charge. I was billed for wall patches, which were done by maintenance while I was still living there, and was told by maintenance that I will not be charged for that. Also, neighbors below me were smoking a pack of cigarettes a day on a balcony and they were knocking at my door whenever my dog would bark, and they would also come up to ask me to try not to make a noise while I'm walking around my apartment, which is ridiculous. Every time my dog would bark I would get a call from management for noise complaint. My dog is an ESA, and I was still charged $35 a month. As far as building security, it's terrible. 2 times so far there were people breaking into garage and stealing things from parked cars, someone stole a bicycle from a 2nd floor apartment balcony by using a ladder at 7AM, and someone went into trash room and set the container on fire. Overall a terrible experience. read more

AMLI Park Ave is the first place I landed after relocating to Denver from the east coast and I would not have done it any differently. They are backed by a reputable national brand, but have a strong local community (hence you can transfer to other AMLI properties easily). The Leasing Office, Maintenance, and House Keeping staff are amazing and truly genuine people who know your (and your dog's) names.... because everyone is this neighborhood has a dog. Although a large building, it has a cozy feel with respectful and friendly tenants. The amenities are appropriate for the size building and make city living convenient and affordable (free coffee, free gym, free parking, free dog treats, package room, on call maintenance, composting, etc). It sits in the heart of Uptown, walking distance to coffee, restaurants, dog parks, city owned parks, grocery stores. The light rail and downtown shopping/businesses are a 20 minute walk. My only advice is, be aware that it is situated in an urban environment and that some units face busier streets than others. If street noise is a concern for you, consider the unit you choose, but don't let that stop you from enjoying this community. And the Centennial floor plan has amazing all day natural sun light! read more

I have lived at AMLI Park Ave for just over 4 years. I love my place. It has super high ceilings, wood floors, granite counters in the kitchens and washers and Dryers are included. I think if the bathroom counters matched the quality of the kitchen that would have been a bonus as well but not a big deal. The balcony overlooking the pool is amazing and I rarely hear my neighbor's but I am on the top floor. The location is probably why I have stayed as long as I have. Close to dozens of Restaurants and Bars, grocery and shopping. Only a 10 minute walk downtown as well. The office staff and maintenance guys are always very friendly and prompt and take care of any issues quickly. Garage parking for guests is also a bonus. They close the pool and game/community room pretty early ( 10:00) which some people might like but i find is a negative especially on the weekends when the game room is not anywhere near peoples apartments to disturb them. I would definitely recommend this property for someone looking for a great place with Friendly staff in a great location. read more

I lived at AMLI Park Avenue Lofts Feb. 2011- Mar 2016 in a 1 bedroom loft facing the pool. The Pros of choosing the poolside is that you will absolutely love the white noise sound of the waterfalls. Con to poolside living, all other residents can be heard, all other residents have a perfect view onto your balcony. It will seem darker in the apartment than reality because the build interior is surrounding the pool. The pool closing for the season changed while I was under contract with a year round pool with no adjustment to rent. I chose AMLI and poolside on the year round pool amenity. It was one of the only things that made them stand out against so many uptown options. You will hear your neighbors. I mean like Even their iPhone buzzing them awake on their nightstand, voices, and even the smallest person above you will sound like an elephant. Look to move into a top floor to avoid some of this otherwise be forewarned. The hallways smell like a barnyard. My water heater malfunctioned causing my one bedroom water bill to triple, even more than a my friends 2 bedroom. It made no sense. AMLI staff told me watch my showers versus investigating the issue. My father came to visit and realized what was wrong. It was set so high that the water was dumping and refilling too frequently. No reimbursement or apologize from AMLI. If you need extra space for stuff the optional storage units are great. Mine was on the same floor as my apartment and very close by. For $40 a month I can fit all my camping, skiing and other storage boxes I don't need all the time. Maintenance concerns are easily submitted online or by calling the office. These are usually quickly resolved. read more

Bad management, shoddy construction, rude neighbors, and an awful atmosphere. Complaints go unnoticed by management; vandalism, trespassing, graffiti. There are entire hallways that smell like urine. Strange neighbors that are up at all hours of the night clanging and banging around, and you can hear every step they take through the paper thin walls and ceilings. All of the amenities promised are unavailable, you feel like you're in a college dorm and the RA's are cracking down. There are a large handful of buildings around this area and I suggest any one of them, I wouldn't recommend this building to ANYBODY. Leaving as soon as my lease is up. read more

I lived here for a year and this place was amazing! The apartments are brand new and super modern. The "bamboo style" floors look great and they were very durable. This is a nice, quiet building and most everyone I interacted with was pleasant. It is definitely a little pricey but worth it! The amenities and the roof top deck are great and provide everything you need within an apartment building! I almost feel bad calling it an apartment, it is definitely more than that! read more

I have lived in the building for over two years and I have no complaints. The associates who work downstairs are extremely responsive, helpful, and pleasant. And maintenance requests are taken care of immediately. The assigned parking is great, especially in the winter. The apartments are good quality and I haven't experienced too many noise issues, though we have had issues with our dish washing machine and washer. Uptown is a very convenient location and while the apartments might cost more than other options in the area, I think they are worth the money. read more

The staff here is extremely friendly and helpful, from the management to maintenance. The building is beautiful and kept in perfect condition. I have been living here for about two years. The maintenance staff is very attentive and is swift to take care of housekeeping matters in your personal unit and globally for the building. Assigned parking is really nice. The property is clean and tidy and ideally located. The administration can sometimes be slow with the uptake but you'll get what you need eventually. My girlfriend and I wish they had been a little more reasonable with negotiation their prices, but I'm sure big daddy corporate determines all of that. One more thing, the fire alarm has gone off, once, the repeat offender is the adjacent apartment complex. read more

We moved to AMLI Park Ave in Sep 2019 and have been so happy with this decision! We moved from NYC and knew nothing about Denver and chose AMLI Park Ave due to proximity to downtown and being able to walk to work. The neighborhood is awesome with great walkability to coffee shops, breweries, our favorite local market, restaurants, etc. The free assigned covered parking spot is huge!! We have friends who pay tons for their spot at other places. The entire staff is awesome. They are always nice, quickly responsive to requests and are a huge part of what makes AMLI a great place. We've never had any issues and we've lived in two different apartments within this complex (we upgraded when we started working from home). We love the amenities too. I've had to use the business center a few times to print docs - super convenient. As far as cost, it's completely reasonable and competitive with other properties, especially when you factor in parking and the size of the bedrooms and living space. read more

I am at the end of my rope, and thankfully, the end of my lease. I would strongly recommend that anyone thinking of moving into this apartment complex reconsider. The rents are outrageous!!!! Well above the market rental rates for this area. And you most certainly do not get what you pay for. The hallways are dirty and smelly. When the building was new, the management seemed interested in making it beautiful and appealing to all potential renters. But now that the building is nearing capacity, the cleaning crew and carpet cleaners have vanished into thin air. The walls are scuffed, the carpets are stained, and the stairwells reek of urine and cigarettes. The promised amenities are constantly unavailable. The fire pit on the roof was out of service all last winter. The "secure access" is anything but. And try working out and using one of the cardio machines that has a TV attached. Either the TV doesn't work, or the machine itself doesn't. Not to mention the broken stereo system in the gym that took 4 months to replace in this "state-of-the-art beautiful building." You'd think for $2200+ for a 2 bedroom you might get a little bit of what those shiny brochures offer. Don't be fooled, or you'll only find yourself longing to move shorty after settling in. read more
