Late lunch-Early dinner 12/10/25 One Food Truck Burrito, very tasty and huge portions. One Combo plate, taco with ground beef, one cheese enchilada, one chicken burrito with rice and beans very good and quite large. Excellent service, helpful and friendly. Finished our meal and talking to the staff we found out the restaurant is under new management. It was very good before, but we both agreed it's even just a little bit better now. We're back.....I told you we were going to work our way through the menu. Tonight we came by to sample some ala carte menu items. We ordered a Chile Rellano, a chicken enchilada with green sauce and a 3-street taco side with chicken, al pastor (pork) and steak. We also ordered a shrimp cocktail to-go. The chile relleno is one of the better ones I've ever had and it is also different than I've had before. The chile itself was a red pepper and it was packed full of cheese. The sauce was different too--mild and delicious. We would order this again. My husband said he would love to take a few home with us. (We didn't need it though. It would not surprise me if he ordered it every time we come.) The chicken enchilada was packed full of shredded chicken and had a bright but non-acidic mild tomatillo sauce. I would order this again. The street tacos were also packed full of meat. I think half of it fell onto the plate as I bit into them. (Not to worry though. All the meat was devoured.). We ordered different flavors to try the meats--chicken, carne asada and al pastor. This is my 2nd favorite al pastor (al pastor is my all-time favorite taco filling). All three meats were good. As for the shrimp cocktail? I don't know yet. It's for my husband's lunch tomorrow. I will update after he tries it. So far, so good Amor and Tacos. We will be back...!!!! read more

Heading back for our second visit, the food is out of this world and the portions allow for multiple meals. Service is a bit slow as they get there feet under them, but great communication, and nothing out of the ordinary for a new spot. Will be a staple for us, so so good and such good pricing! read more

SOOO happy someone new is in this location. They have a few things to work out but will say we will definitely become regulars if they can maintain the level we experience on our first visit. Pro's - All the servers were working their tails off, did a great job of checking in and communicating. Pricing was good Food was very good Portion size was perfect Con's- They should invest in booths while expanding the seating area, from my observation they could size down the waitress station area, add booths all the way around and even put two rows up the center, all while leaving room for one larger table for large parties. Really need to be able to start serving liquor Fix the cashier thing, pay at the table. The young lady struggled to find our order at the register, it took her about 5 minutes to locate our ticket and we had to let her know what we had and who our server was, seems like there is plenty of room for improvement to fix this one. read more

Below average Mexican food and not nearly authentic. No Carne Asada, Al Pastor, no Barria, no carnitas, no chorizo, no empanada. Only ground beef and shredded chicken. No seafood. If you just want a burrito one step above Taco Bell, this is your place! I will say the server was very nice. read more

We found this business when we ate at their food truck and was really loving the quality of the food. Now they have a restaurant in Stevensville downtown. Truly some of the best food we have experienced in the Bitterroot. Slow cooked meats and food made from scratch. Servers are really friendly and professional. read more

I just read "complete home with M's" review and I have to say I strongly disagree. I was also there when this altercation took place and over heard the table being extremely rude to the young waitress Bonnie even though she showed no disrespect even after the rude comments were being made. I also observed one of her fellow coworkers come and explain that they strived to accompany great service but wanted recognition in return. I have been to Amor & Tacos three times and I have to say it is the best Mexican food I've ever had. My personal favorites are the street tacos, loaded nachos, and the carne asada plate. but that list will definitely grow over time. The overall energy in the restaurant is always amazing, As are the servers. If anyone is traveling through Stevensville or lives here I would highly recommend stopping by. read more

If you like basic Gringo style Mexican you'll like Amor & Tacos. Their salsa served with warm chips is super flavorful. Nice portions for all entrees and enough variety to please everyone. The Chili Relleno was my favorite. My ONLY complaint about their food is that they use a ton of salt for my taste and that's not something I like in any food. The servers are always pleasant and do a good job even with being understaffed. Glad to have them in Stevi. read more

Just another horrible Montana mexican restaurant. To start, the chips and salsa were bland, no flavor at all. I ordered the Chicken Fajitas, it was basically a plate of onions with a few other vegetables and a tiny bit of chicken, they were bland, no seasoning at all. My husband orderd the carne asada burrito, again another fail. The service was poor, but honestly the young wait staff has not been trained, it isn't their fault. Have been there a few times.The food has changed some.I took my two sons and sorry to say they were not pleased. The burrito shell was cold and the beef mushy.The salsa was bland.I had a canitas enchilata .The carnitas was dry and old.The enchilata shells were flour instead of corn and they were cold.The food was overall quite salty. read more

Have to say we loved this place the first 3 times we went. This last time...not so much. Went on a Thursday night at 5:30 pretty crowded. Service...lovely peeps tried hard. Margarita was horrible it was sent back, bartender sent it out with a note "I don't know how to fix so I made it sweeter"???? Shrimp fajita was my order all tasted like it was pre frozen and very little flavor. Main food was brought out before appetizers that were ordered. Hardly any flavor in 3 main dishes.
