We had the shrimp fajitas. They give complimentary chips and salsa. They were quite accommodating to my group of 11's want to sit outside which has a spectacular view of the lake. The shrimp fajitas was quite tasty and everything seemed decently fresh. The issues: in one of the dishes there was a pebble. In another dish there was a string. I think these were one off's because the people near us that we saw never looked like they had any similar issues. They also comped the cost of those dishes. Very fun and intimate Mexican spot located in Seeley! I would highly recommend making a reservation prior to coming to this location. The portions are very big and the prices are a little more but it's definitely worth. I got the steak fajitas and the huckleberry jalapeño margarita. Came here with a party of 12 and got seated pretty quickly we were able to sit outside with the views of the lake. read more

The prices are reasonable. The service and food were good, consistent with what I would expect from a typical Mexican restaurant. I especially liked the salsa served with the chips. It had a little kick, but didn't leave your mouth burning. My only reason for rating 4 stars instead of 5 stars is they charge you extra if you use a credit card. This is one of my biggest pet peeves with restaurants. They should charge you the price listed in the menu regardless of the method of payment. read more

This is our favorite place to eat in Seeley. The food is fantastic, great portions for the price and the service is always fast and friendly. We stopped at this place on the way to Glacier. Nice restaurant with very friendly staff. The food came out fast despite how busy they were. I got ground beef enchiladas. They were decent but I've had more flavorful enchilada sauce. Rice n beans were tastey enough. My wife got steak quesedilla and said it was the best marinade she'd had. She loved them. I will start by saying that the owners are my friends. They are the hardest working family I know. They and their staff also mostly family, do a darn good job at running a smooth, consistently good restaurant. Yes, the food is good, and the menu extensive. Plus, the drinks menu is HUGE! I highly recommend their ceviche, green chili pork and the queso birria street tacos! The jalapeno margarita is to die for! You cannot go wrong here... Last night, the Friday of Labor Day weekend, Casa Caro was HOPPIN'! But we didn't have to wait for a table, and we got good chips and great salsa immediately. My friends ordered cheese enchiladas and Camerones Apretados. The cheese enchiladas were good, but my friend expected onions, and there weren't any. The camerones were great! I got three street tacos: carne asada, al pastor, and carnitas. All were good and the carnitas was close to great. My friend with the camerone's doesn't eat beans and forgot to ask to leave them off so I got to eat them. WOW!! The best refried beans I've eaten ANYWHERE (Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, California, Baja or Oaxaca). Worth driving from Missoula or anywhere else. Also, I had the horchata which was the perfect blend of sweet and cinnamon. Go the Casa Caro! Panza lleno, corazon contento. Holy bandito amigo, I ordered the #13 and the enchilada, taco and chile relleno were all delicious. Feels like I was transported to Old Mexico... all I needed was a mariachi band to complete the ambience. The service was fast, friendly and was welcomed after a long day of adventure in Seeley. Don't get the enchiladas, I've had better frozen ones from the supermarket. Very little cheese, no enchilada sauce, very tasteless. I had Margherita there, taste good but couldn't taste any tequila. It's too bad for the town, since now the only Mexican food would be atv the ice cream place. We aren't eating there znymore. read more

Chips were warm and delicious. My daughter got nachos, my son got tacos, I got the taco salad, and my husband got vegetarian enchiladas. He felt confident that the beans were truly vegetarian and cooked without animal fat. Service was kind, and we enjoyed sitting outside. We consider ourselves foodies, and we would absolutely come again. My kids say it is so good that it is worth taking the trip from Baltimore to Montana just for the food. read more
