I have not been back to 5T's but a good friend who I trust told me that the food and service have improved 100% and that she had a great meal there. That said I will try them again soon. What a surprise to find here in Montana. Very authentic Mexican food. I had the pastor burrito. From the outside look not much different but as I proceeded to eat this was so good. Flour tortilla was fantastic filled with some great pastor beans rice sour cream and guacamole. My wife had a shredded beef tostada that was very tasty. Comes with chips and salsa. Had the red hot sauce with our food which had a great medium spice to it. Definitely a great place. read more

Honestly, without a doubt the best food I've had since I landed in Montana. Tamales are over the top, three different burritos amazing, 1 was carnitas smothered with red sauce and 2 were plain. A chili relleno burrito, now that's got to be a one of a kind, unbelievably delicious. Al pastor burrito was awesome also, burritos are huge and loaded up with meat, rice, beans and are a complete meal alone. Chips and salsa were fresh and plenty. Service was top notch and very friendly. Dining room is a little small and very clean. There is seating on the patio as well. We showed up a little after 11:00 and it was getting busy and by the time we left the parking lot was jam full. People complaining about the wait times need to run down to Taco Bell, food this good definitely don't come out of the microwave. Thanks 5T, we'll be back soon. read more

We went to dinner at 5T Taco last week with 3 other couples. The place was busy and we waited for over an hour before our food was served... one dish at a time!! We initially had to wait for 20 minutes before they even took our order. One couple eventually left due to the delay. Honestly the food was not that tasty and it was all slopped together. Maybe they had a bad night, but we all will not be returning. I would have given them 1 star, but our server was friendly and apologetic. read more

Extremely disappointed! If I wanted to fry an already frozen taquito, I could have done it at home. Or, could have gotten them at any gas station! Dry meet, and very overpriced. For two "taquitos" (not home made - store bought), rice and beans for 11.99. I do not recommend this place. We stopped because we heard it was "authentic". Even when you order double meat, they don't do it. Not receptive to "extra veggies." or custom orders. Again, a joke! Skimp on the good stuff like guacamole, sour cream and pico de Gallo. Like a teaspoon of each for a large burrito. It's sad since there are not many drive-thru restaurants in Victor, MT. I've eaten there several times now and can honestly say that I don't really care for it. The food is bland, portions are small and they waste too much time trying to make it look fancy. My last visit was by far the worst. The restaurant was emptying out as we arrived and any giva-a-damn by the staff and owner were gone. We sat with empty glasses, unattended to while staff looked on and walked on by. We also got to witness them turning away customers since they decided to close hours early. While I welcome anything new to this area, I won't be back and look for them to close in the next year. You can't run a restaurant like this and expect to thrive. read more

I'm from Montana but I lived in Southern California for a couple years and am a huge street taco nerd. So I actually get it when it comes to Mexican food. These tacos and burritos don't skip a beat!! Spot on authentic burrito bus style street tacos. Went from 5 stars a few months ago to 1 stars today because the last 3 times we got food there, we were disappointed. Breakfast burritos are $9, which is expensive but we willingly paid because they were really good the first 2 times. Since then, we've come home with chorizo burritos that aren't as big, have little to no cheese, undercooked potatoes and chorizo that is hard and crunchy which means it has sat long enough to get cold, hard, and dry (we waited twice as long for them to make it that day too) another time the amount of chorizo in the burrito was maybe a tablespoon and was concentrated to one spot, not spread throughout so until you got to that spot, it was an egg and undercooked potato burrito and no cheese. Not cool, especially for $9. Friends and co-workers have had similar disappointing experiences in recent months as well. :( read more

Heard about this restaurant through the grapevine with promise of authentic and excellent Mexican food. I certainly was not disappointed, it was better than I thought could be had in Montana. I ordered a Chile relleno (not on the menu, you have to ask) and it was one of the best I've ever had. Excellent enchiladas as well. Staff was friendly and the space was very clean. Their food is some of the best Mexican you'll find in Western Montana....but beware: a posted price doesn't necessarily equal what you'll be charged. We were charged $13 today for burritos that the drive through menu lists at $9.50. We'd already paid before we noticed the difference, but raised the discrepancy when our food was handed out the window; the gal at the window shrugged it off as an old price, then slammed the window shut before we could discuss it further.
