Amor do Samba is great! Friendly, talented, professional. The expressions on my husband and his twin's face tell it all!

For my husband's 60th birthday we had to cancel our cruise plans ( for obvious reasons). So, I decided to bring the cruise experience to him and his twin. Amor do Samba was just the ticket! Beautiful, Professional, Talented, Engaging. I highly recommend them for your Samba entertainment needs!

Just Fantastic!!! I hired Amor do Samba for my wedding reception to kick off the dancing and as a surprise for my Husband who is from Brazil. If you are looking for outstanding professional entertainers these ladies are it. Tanilee was amazing. I contacted her through gigSalad and told her about my wedding and what I was looking for in the performance. She made great suggestions and wrote up a contract within a few days from my first email. Everything was written out very clearly and pricing was very fair. She was the easiest and most fun to work with out of all my vendors for the wedding. The Big Day!- BEAUTIFUL! Right after our first dance, our dj announced them and each dancer entered the room and went around to each table. It set the mood and really got everyone so excited to see samba! They had so much energy and within a few minutes everyone was dancing. My husband and in-laws were so touch to have a little bit of Brazil represented and I have to say it was the best decision in my wedding planning I had made. If you are deciding between dancers, please do yourself a favor and treat and go with Amor Do Samba.

AMAZING!! These ladies know how to make the party going! Felice and Audry I can not thank you enough for making my husbands birthday so unforgettable and memorable! Girls showed up on time, they where really professional since the moment they walked in to our house till the moment they left. They looked absolutely spectacular in there costumes! And there performance was so amazing that there was not one person in the room that was not on there feet dancing, clapping or screaming. They played very popular latin songs that where uplifting and very energetic. So many of our guests wanted to have photo taken with them after they performed, and they where nice enough to stay for as long as everyone took one. All of my guests told me that it was the best party they ever been to, and big part of it is because of you two! I also want to thank Lindsey, lady who arranged everything, and who I bothered with lots of emails for a few weeks before the party. She was nice enough to answer all of my questions, and assure me that gils will show up on time and that everything is under control. Can`t wait to book you again!! Till the next time!

We warmed up with a Hong Kong Hot Pot meal on Grant St capped off with Chinese Mai Tai's at LI PO The show was an amazing exhibition of male & female youth, eye popping physical beauty, great feet, balance, strength, perfect timing, ariel silk acrobatics, pole climbing & gymnastics, trapeze work, giant hula hoops, feet archery, contortion, energy, music, singing, poetry; as well as spoken SF history.... the 1906 'quake.... and tributes to the beats, writers, poets, lovers from Ginsburg to Kerouac Be advised! no breaks for over a 1 1/2hours....pee before the show! There was even a added act.... a gifted solo singer (sorry can't recall his name etc). His voice was superb... the song itself, done in a "musical" ie West Side Story...style , didn't really move me but his vitality was compelling! All in all, a fabulous night's entertainment & as Ryan, who was glowing, said: "I"m exhausted!" I get it.... watching all these pumped up glistening muscles sweat while their pores poured it out! my only regret.....I feel so stupid not to have seen Beach Blanket Babylon before it closed after a 40+ year stand at the club in 2019

We had already had dinner before walking in so didn't get any food items or drinks so can't speak to that. I did notice throughout the show that the servers were very attentive. The building is pretty charming, old school SF and the show was pretty well done. The performers did their best, and it was very entertaining, emotional as well for us who love the city. We enjoyed all the cirque de soleil style acts, but our group felt there could have been more references to San Francisco's history, Architecture and culture woven through the show.

I went to see a show " Italiani Veri "  last night. Fabulous cabaret-type show with performer Arianna. She's a true (veri) Italian from Milan who sang, danced and explained Italian culture as part of the entertainment. She has an amazing voice! She could have been a finalist at the San Remo Music Festival - the most famous singing festival in Italy. She fessed up saying she had been an Italian Mouseketeer! The venue has a bar/lounge to enjoy cocktails then a few steps down further is the theater. You need to be mobile since there are a lot of steps. Seating is first come-first serve. I have to admit that seating is quite tight. You are shoulder to shoulder with your neighbors. Get cozy folks. They typically have magic shows here! If you want to see a historic night club, this would be the venue to come to and enjoy a show. Italiani Veri show was a real treat! Highly recommend it!

Demetri was able to engage with the audience in ways that aren't typically possible in a larger venue (like the Masonic). Note that the venue can be hard to find, especially if the event was advertised as being at the "Palace of Fine Arts." The Theater is around the corner, and there are very limited signs. Like many reviewers, we spent time wandering around trying to find the entrance. It is on the west side of the venue, not near the famous dome. If you're driving/Ubering, be sure to enter the destination as the Theater, and not just the Palace of Fine Arts, as the entrance are on opposite sides of the property. There is very limited food and drink offered, and you're not allowed to bring any food into the auditorium (covered drinks are allowed). This was a bit of an inconvenience for a show running 7-9pm right during dinner time. We were hoping for at least some popcorn for during the show. Bathrooms are small and awkwardly laid out, leading to long lines, confusing, and tight spaces. This is made worse by the fact that each row is ~50 seats across with the only aisles on the ends - this makes it very hard for anyone not seated on the very ends to leave during the show to go to the restroom. As a result, there was a massive rush to the restroom after the show and a 20 minute wait for the men's restroom (I shudder to think how long the women's line was.

Turns out that everyone had to stand in this will-call line to get physical tickets even though they were purchased online. Seemed odd, however, show up early to avoid the line and enjoy the scenic vibe around before the show. There's free parking (after 4P I believe) super close to the theater-- literally steps. We had to lock up our phones in a pouch for this specific event but it's so beautiful indoors as well. They had a bar area that many people enjoyed. Bathrooms are a bit crammed but nothing new to venues. It's a more intimate venue. It reminds me of a large college class room. Each seat seems like a great view, even last row. We found our seats easily, space between seats are more spacious than other places, no cup holders sucks but you can put your drink under the seat if needed. Audio and lighting was good & I look forward to checking out future events here.
