We did a quote request via Yelp and Amore Painting was one of the first to respond and stop by for a free on sight quote. He went around my house and gave me a fair quote (on paper too) with the cost and what they will be doing. When they came to paint my house, they were on time each day, very polite and were very attentive in their preparations. They covered all of my cement around the house so the paint won't get on my cement. I have a narrow dead space on one side of the house that I never even look at that had leaves and dirt and they cleaned that up too. They even got rid of my hornet nests around my house too. They also patched up some parts around my door that needed patch work. Not only do they paint, but they fix dry wall too. I had them patch up my ceiling and now I can't even tell there was a big hole to begin with. We liked the final outcome of the exterior painting of our home. Jay had the crew paint part of our wooden fences without extra charges. After the painting was completed, when we reported concerns about the parts of the work that were not done properly, Jay was responsive. He sent Chase and a competent painter to correct the work, although it took them over 2 weeks for the follow-up. What we did not like was the sheer amount of time and energy that it took for us to inspect their work and to communicate with Jay to ensure the job was done adequately. Jay, owner, was not at the job site most of the time. He was also not there to inspect the crew's completed work on the last day. His crew did not seem to self-monitor their work, and were rushing to complete the job. When we pointed out the things that needed corrections on the last day. Nixon, who appeared to be the lead worker, said that he did not get paid overtime. Jay should have been the one who inspected their work and made sure that the job was done properly. We had to shoulder that responsibility. Even though the end result was acceptable, we would not hire this company again. read more

This is the first time in 43 years that I've paid someone else to paint the outside of my house. I used to do this myself but decided I didn't want to anymore. One of my coworkers referred me to Amore Painting. Before painting, we had our roofing contractor rip out all the old dry rotted fascia and eaves and replace the flat roof in the back. Jay quoted a very attractive price that included all the surface prep, excellent quality Dunn-Edwards paint, and fixing some gap issues with the fascia boards that the roofers left. The front door was a total mess and his guys sanded and refinished that also. His crew were polite, prompt, professional, and RELIABLE. They didn't even damage the flowers my wife has next to the house. The job only took 4 days (would've taken me WEEKS) and their quote was less than an unlicensed guy my roofer referred me to. (NOPE!)
