Trying to go down to the basement to do laundry was perilous, stairs were very shallow and you had to go sideways. It was very moldy smelling and was not in good condition - including termite damage, stained ceiling, floor damage. Roger and his team came in to assess, gave us an estimate, and started work soon thereafter. It was quite a project and Roger kept us updated the whole time on what was happening (this was a gift we were doing for our kids). They did a great job; and it was a pleasure doing business with them. We wish all contractors were as good at communication as Roger. Many thanks to all of you who worked on that job!!

Since our timeline was short, I asked around for some recommendations. I initially called someone that was a one man show. But he said he couldn't come until close to June! The housing market is keeping these type of businesses really busy. Which is great for them. I personally like a small business when it comes to things like this. So I was hesitant when I was recommend on these guys being good. I have changed my attitude after the experience. They have what sound like a few guys with a varying amount of specified skills. So I talked to the people in the office and they paired me with someone. He found out what my timeline was and got me someone different. But they did it all and did it efficiently. Blake was the guy that came in to help. And he was fantastic. It was like he was the puzzle piece for our specific job. Great at small paint jobs, great at sheetrock repair and fantastic at pressure washing. Exactly what we needed. I will recommend Birmingham Fast Repair to anyone moving forward.

More importantly, they have done all of them within budget and on time. They return calls, come when they say they will, and most importantly fix any issues that may arise.....even years after the project is finished. Some say you can get it done cheaper, but, yes.....that's what you would get.....cheap work. William (the Twin owner with whom I have always spoken) has always been fair and straight forward: a man of his word who stands behind getting it done the way he said he would. Their Operations Manager, Brad, is a PERFECT representative of their company. He just "gets it done". As a business owner myself, I wish all my employees were like Brad. If we have more projects / builds in the future, we woud use Twin in a heartbeat. -Matthew Vicinanzo, MD p.s. pics are of the Adirondack style porch and fireplace that the built. We love it!

We were expected to just accept the fact that they had been paid for work they didn't have to do. If you want to keep your construction expenses to a fair amount Twin is not the company to consider. I urge you not to make the mistake we did and just take a friends word for their work. Compare their costs to a few competitors and don't allow them to charge you for work and materials they never did.
