This Arco station was right by our hotel. Made it a no brainer to stop in to fill our tank and our tummies. No issues paying at the pump with my debit card. Gas prices were reasonable as well. It started out as the best job I had until the manager Marie tripped out on me for asking why my check was short. She proceeded to lie to the HR department and said that I was harassing her. And since she the big guy there they took her word and fired me without a second thought. I had to find someone to give me HR's number since she wouldn't give it out. A week after I was fired with many phone calls they discovered they had shorted my pay by $75. And though it was their bad they didn't give a thought to the fact that they had fired me for nothing so here I am without a job. This is the AM/PM located on Paradise Drive, just behind the Riviera and just across the street from the Westgate Las Vegas (formerly the LVH and Hilton). It is a very well stocked and well lit location. This is the thing. If you need gas, than this place has pretty fair gas prices, especially considering how close you are to the Strip. If you need snacks, soda, or (especially) alcohol, than get ready for some sticker shock. I walk into a place like this expecting to pay extra. I get it. This was just flocking ridiculous though. Not only that, but AM/PM also charges 35 cents per debit card transaction. Seriously? I did opt to give them 2 stars instead of 1 since the cashier was nice and did his job. After eating dinner at Benihana's inside Westgate across the street, we stopped here on the way back to our hotel to get some gas before the 4 hour drive home the next day. Their prices are about 40 cents cheaper per gallon than those in California, so you know I'm not gonna complain about that! Inside, the clerk guy was nice and helped me pay for the pump. This place is always crowded. They also don't carry my beer, so I decided to just get a 6-pk of the Mike's Hard Watermelon. Let me tell you something.... They are VERY proud of their alcohol. This Arco is a nightmare. Saw two different arguments within 5 min bc it's a cluster you know what. Then my husband goes in to pay and the debit card machine eats his card! The employee who worked there had a hard time believing it and two or three times, insisted he check his wallet and that it could not have happened. A bit irritating, like we'd make something like this up... She did however contact the manager, who said she'd be on her way in about 10 min, but realistically what is the manager gonna do, I doubt she has access to that machine and would have to call another person for that job. So we just decided to go to his bank, cancel his card, and get a new one, and we got gas at a 76 station up the street. Cheaper is not always better! read more

Used a debit card to purchase gas from the pump at approximately 1600 hours on 02/13/19 went inside and paid for a drink with cash. 9 hours later I have a pending FRAUDULENT withdrawal via credit on my account authorized by this gas station for $100.35. Will follow up with my bank tomorrow. TLDR only use cash at the pumps otherwise you risk becoming a victim of fraud. read more

I went there at 3 o'clock in the afternoon to get a simple cup of coffee. There are two workers in there bullshitting away behind the counter. I gonto get cream for my coffee and there's no cream in the cream dispenser. So I used the small creamers on the island and proceed to the register with my cup of coffee. Pay $3.28 for the large coffee and inform them that the cream machine is out of cream. She tells me oh I forgot to cut the hoses the creamer is full I just didn't cut the hose. So I think to myself why do the job if you're going to do it half ass.? All the while bullshitting with your partner behind the counter. It's little shit like this that gets on my nerves with employment help of today's job market . Whatever it's just my two cents I won't go back to the same p.m. or Arco for that matter they can bullshit all they want until the cows come home . I'm a security host and all I do is give top-notch customer service every time every day. My point is how hard is it to give good customer service at a gas station you keep your store clean and stocked and give good customer service. Period. read more

This gas station has one main advantage - the convenient location. It is on Paradise Drive. The other advantage is that it works 24/7, as many other gas stations too. Actually, it looks good. If you are going to buy something different form gas - no worries, the place is well stocked, the prices are just and idea bigger then the average once. The customer service is the main reason I am writing this review. The guys are trying to be nice, however their gas competence is was poor. Went in to buy some drinks since me and the husband were staying at the westgate, decided on some that were on sale, bought a Total of 6 drinks, man clerk rings us up , total was 19 something, my husband tells the clerk, can you double check the prices because they were on sale, out of nowhere a FEMALE clerk says no it's right, my husband than says no it's not she's than rolls her eyes saying she's going to check, while she's checking she's talking all this crazy stuff about prices and blah blah if I wasn't on vacation she would of got a whole lot of more attitude from me but unlike her I'm a mature adult, and while she's doing all this she's on the phone with who knows who, than tells us okay ur right total is 22 I'm furious at the point we than tell her how did it jump from 19 to 22 she than says in a rude way ARE YOU ON VACATION, what the heck is it to you if we are, and again rolls her eyes, seriously if you dislike your job that much, look for another one, or if your having a bad day don't take it out on customers, leave the attitude at home.
