Cute little speak easy bar located in the food court area. You have to enter through a grocery store by rubbing the kitties belly 5 times and meowing. It's dark and has a great vibe. It was empty when we got there as it was early but surely it gets jammed packed. Cocktails range from $18+ and don't disappoint. We sat at the bar and watched our drinks being made. They have a good range of liquor. There was an influencer event happening so bar tender was busy and there were delays with our drinks. Located in the Resorts World Food Hall area, Ms. Meow's Mamak Stall is a cool little speakeasy bar with some great mixologists... The entrance facade is an Asian Mini-Mart store that hides the bar well. You can pick up some Asian soft drinks, snacky snack and candy if need be. The hostess pulls on the door and next thing you know you're walking down a short hallway to the bar area. e Dimly lit, hanging lights strung across the ceiling, brick walls, dark wood and an attractive bar makes for a very cool speak easy vibe to get your drink on. Lounge chairs, tables, and seating at the bar maximizes the seating capacity for the square footage. This bar reminds me of the local bars in Osaka: Maximum cool drinking experience in a smalller space. The background music was an awesome mix of old school hip hop and modern chill tunes to keep the drinks flowing. When we visited, the bartenders informed us that they didn't have an official drink menu. It was an Omakase type of drinking experience. They asked for a base alcohol for them to work with and asked how you preferred your cocktails. BFF didn't want to partake and when with her normal Tito's Vodka...BORING...Booo...! lol I was game so I went with a Vodka as a base and for a more 'sour' type of drink. Before handing me the drink, the bartender would inform me what he put in and why. How the taste would compliment this, etc. I'm like cool...just hand it over now brother. lol Wow...I didn't get his name unfortunately but the drinks were fantastic! The first one was leaning towards a lemon fruity (Not sweet) sour vibe and was excellent. The second cocktail was a sour vibe without the fruit influence. Hard to describe but was tasty. The best cocktail, was a matcha green tea steelo and it was creative and tasty. Excellent work here. The lines can get long because of the capacity nature of a speakeasy and the popularity. This is definitely a must visit if you appreciate a good cocktail and enjoy exploring bars. It's very social media friendly as well. Located at the Resorts World Food Hall. Since it's a speakeasy there's always something hidden and secretive about the location so after getting here we still wondered how to get it. Coincidentally as we were looking around without looking dumb the door opened up. We came at the right time and waited about 10 minutes for a table. It's really small inside maybe 6-7 tables and about 8 barstools. We didn't ask for a drink menu, just picked out our alcohol of choice and let the bartender do the rest. The Stall has plenty of unique Asian snacks that you'd typically see at Ranch 99 or Hmart. I like the cashier's desk where its framed with bamboo and shaded with newspapers - something that you'd see in Taiwan street vending. They also sell swag but its all Mamak Stall marketing. The speakeasy opens at 4:30pm and there's already a line wrapped around. There will be a hostess asking for party size and will take you in through the secret bookcase (the one with lucky cats). Once inside, its very festive with holiday decorations over the old East theme. Bartenders were good conversationalist and you can request any drink off menu or customize to however you feel (ie, old fashion with bitters). A bit pricey for speakeasies. I found this place from watching TikTok. I was so excited to go in. I thought it would be a cool experience but that wasn't the case. This bar will rip you off just buy ordering drinks, it's a 2 drink minimum per person. I order a drink and I was expecting it to be a decent size drink for $20 but nope they gave me a giant ice cube with barely any alcohol!!!! I literally got ripped off, like I paid $20 for a cube of ice. I was super disappointed to say the least. . Don't waste your money here. Yes, the aesthetic is cute but that's it, nothing else. We waited in line diligently for a long time and the manager of the place (Natalie) who herself came in late, shamelessly let in 3 of her friends in the back of the line who didn't wait at all. We were staying at the hotel in this resort (CONRAD), ate at multiple restaurants at that resort, as well as went out to 2 clubs - Everywhere in this new resort, hostesses respected guests and treated them with hospitality. However in this place, Natalie the manager acted like she owns (actual owners please take note) the place giving preferential treatment for her friends and ignoring the guests. For Shame. Went inside the store to purchase some items and check out the speak easy. Was rudely spoken to by a lady saying that we weren't able to just enter (as all the speak easy's on the strip have been able to do) and that it was by attendant entry only and that you have to wait in a line outside the store to even check it out. My husband and a friend had checked out the speakeasy a few nights ago, today, my husband and I went to resorts for a day out, and he wanted to show me the speakeasy location. He remembered it had something to do with the candy shop, (Ms Meows Mamak Stall). We then realized it was not open yet, but were speaking with the employee Laura. My husband said, "I was here a few nights ago, is this the door where we entered?". With a condescending attitude she responded "it's in the vicinity" to which my husband replied. "I'm pretty sure the entrance is in this candy shop" she just kept telling him "it's in the vicinity, it's in the vicinity". At this point even the lady who was cleaning the floor was laughing; we later google it and it tells you exactly where it's at. We then left for lunch and went back to speak with Laura and show her there's articles online that shows it is not that big of a secret. She then did a golf clap and said "good job, you found it!" at no moment was this interaction with the employee pleasant. Later on we ran into the manager and brought this up with him, he proceeded to defend her and say "I'm not making an excuse for her and it's not sarcasm, it's her personality and people are quite into it". The candy store was great, huge variety of product, unfortunately the front line employee we dealt with and manager, was far from pleasant. I understand sticking up for your employees but Laura had already made him aware of the situation so he was quick to dismiss us. read more
