Prices are a bit higher than the next big truck stop an exit later, they do offer diesel. Minimart is stocked well. Difficulty to get to from the highway with long red light and U turn necessary. A bit higher in price than the big guys down the road. Least expensive I saw diesel was $5 yesterday and that was even a Chevron. I paid $5.66 - a little extra for credit. Receipt didn't print and parking area seemed a bit cramped. People were squeezing by and double parking to get into the mini mart. Got to see the mini mart. Employee was excellent. Horrible customer service. I went to pump gas paid with the change of my purchase and the lady put the wrong number and then when I went and told them it's not pumping they toook like 10 minutes to try and figure out what number it was on and then she starts pointing at me say no you say wrong number you told me this number so you're wrong. While pointing at me and getting loud continuing to point at me and disrespect me. Not to mention she looks like she's cracked out, eyes half way closed looking higher than a kite. This place is a dumpster fire. Accusing me of saying the wrong number while your crackhead employee puts the wrong number. read more

TOOMGIS is rolling over in his grave (if he's, in fact, dead per unconfirmed reports.) Stopped here for cheap gas, and found prices comparable to Chevron. The pump was heavily tagged and scribed with all sorts of gang graffiti. Trash cans overflowing, window wash had a little fetid water in it and squeegee missing. Tried to fill up and I got one of those pumps that auto shuts off every 75¢ or so. Pain in the ass, especially considering the scumbags parked in old beat up cars seemingly waiting for me to leave my truck bed full of equipment unattended. Saw the attendant outside laughing loudly with some buddies and sharing a smoke. Must be on a break I guess? I didn't stick around to find out. The lady at the counter couldn't read a lotto ticket and paid one guy $1 instead of $11 so they argue about that, then the next guy needed condoms and she made him repeat himself louder multiple times in a store full of people then told him to go behind the counter and get them himself, then I came up and she rings me up for $3+ instead of the $2. She argues it has to be the one on the photo, then goes and looks and says it's the wrong size, we verify the size is 3oz per the sign and bag, I reshowed her the ad (this photo) and she just said "no no no" and shook her head like it was fake but the sign she just looked at. I just walked out since there was a line. No coffee, no cookies, no return. read more

Gas prices good here right now. The pumps look newish and the AMPM mini mart appears older. This station is located across from the Hampton Inn and just off the freeway. Nothing but the prices would drive you here. It is off the same exit as Target, In n Out, Chipotle and others. Fast and easy in and out. They had coffee and the usual soft drinks. With gas prices finally going down, this arco (and other arcos nearby) continue to exploit our wallets by keeping prices unreasonably expensive. A 50 cent increase between 87-89 gas is unacceptable. Never seen this type of price gouging EXCEPT from this arco in lathrop. read more

I'm heading north on my road trip and need fuel to continue my journey. I find this Arco and the price are lower then other stations near by. I was surprised they sell diesel too! They don't accept credit cards? No problem, I have cash. Can you believe it, someone who actually carries cash? Wow, right? So I fill my tank, get my change and get on the NB 5 again. The guys who work here are always on a smoke break. They keep shutting off the pumps. They lock all the doors and won't help anyone. There's always a group of their friends who visit the employees here. They've made it a hangout spot whilst avoiding serving customers. Go somewhere else. The cashier was all too happy to inform me they did not have a bathroom to use after I paid for a tank of gas at 1am on my way home. There are plenty of gas stations to stop at along the 5. Do yourself a favor and avoid this one. read more

This is my go-to when I'm traveling. Excellent customer service and the owner is the best! They keep their station clean. It tends to get busy because they offer the lowest price in gas compared to the other gas stations. Am Pm rocks! read more

I've been here several times and stopped going. This place is a hot mess. Must be privately owned.I doubt corporate would allow this place to operate like it does..... There is no traffic control. It does not have any arrows or attendants to directing people in. It's very high volume and Cars fly in at all directions. The parking lot and gas pump area is small quickly gets congested. This causes constant arguments amongst customers. People are always yelling and screaming at each other. The gas pumps are typically dirty and the ground has a black grime on it and feels sticky. Inside the convenience store is no better. Staff are poorly trained and clearly overwhelmed. The restrooms are poorly maintained. The station is dimly lit at night and has an unsafe feel to it. It's a shame. This is a great location and could be really nice. read more

Absolutely the worst service I have ever had. They closed the gas pumps from 11:45-12:05, no big deal. They were STILL closed at 12:15 with NO updated sign and the clerk was sitting inside cleaning. read more

Convenient and great prices but they really need a better system especially during peak hours. There should be only one way into the stalls because when it's hectic, people cut you off all the time and you can't go around once in on one side. read more

I made a transaction at this gas station for $6.04 incl their $.35 fee at 11:30 late March. The next morning 8am I had 3 separate charges for $100 and change. There is some sort of fraud being committed. I am sure others have suffered as well. Pls send msg if you've fallen victim as they frauded me out of $300. Somehow they swiped my card info and pin as my debit card was with me. I will be preparing legal action. read more

If there was somewhere else in Lathrop to buy cheap gas I surely would because that is the only redeeming factor here. Girls at the cash register are stupidly slow....all of them. This location is an easy "4" very early in the morning, like 4:00 am. The prices are great, service "ok". After 8am, or any time on the weekends, it is a ghetto. So bad most are afraid to get out of their vehicles. Not the store's fault, just the location. read more
