Having been inside the ampm attached to Arco on 196th Street Southwest a number of times to get my gas receipt, today (Wednesday 4 March 2026) I decide to stop by to check out what was on sale. What I looked at included a mix of food, beverage, and miscellaneous car supplies. The spread of car supplies included items such as motor oil, gloves, and toilet paper. Food options included packaged snacks, candy, fresh baked goods, and a refrigerated cheeses/deli area. Beverages were sorted by category with my thirst craving a carbonated beverage. I went with my favorite lemon-lime diet soda, Sprite Zero, and hopped in the payment line. The counter worker was a fast responder and I was soon on my way with my item after payment. My son was in a very bad motorcycle accident last month at the intersection where this AM/PM is located. He was stopped at the stop light and a drunk young lady age 29 plowed into him from behind. Turns out she had no license. He went flying and the bike burst into flames. He sustained a broken femur along with other bones and has traumatic brain injury. The police responded and did a great job. What sucks is the sheriff went to this AM/PM and has requested to see their video footage. So far the employee has said no on three separate occasions. They left their business card and the owner or manager has not replied. Hopefully, when this place or these same people are in need of help people don't turn a blind eye like they have done. read more

The guy called on the phone was a real jerk. We own a company down the street from them, and their gas pumps are like death. If you pump your gas, you're gonna end up blowing up there they have been warned they have been told by the city and this guy is a real asshole he doesn't take care of his stuff. I don't know if he is the owner we spoke with, but the guy was a complete jerk said you can come in anytime and fill up well all eight of our vehicles, because of that guy will not be going there ever again. The guy was rude only two of their pumps work out of 10 of them. just past 9pm I was working a block away outside. I mentioned to the employee that I shop this store monthly ( they have seen me for many years spend ALOT every visit, gas food drinks candy EACH VISIT) I asked please let me use the bathroom. he rudely says bathroom closed. ( just past hours) ai have nowhere to go but in the streets since ai live across the ferry.. I say again I spend about $400 a month, that would be really rude not to let me go since you have a bathroom right there and I don't live near here. I am going to shop and buy a lot here. the owner yells "F!@-@/.'k you I don't need you!" I am stunned and leave. Wow. it used to be health law to provide a restroom for customers. what happened to common decency? Horrible customer service experience. I had to bring gas to someone who ran out on the road. I stopped and bought a gas can for $17.99 and filled it with a gallon of gas. This is the most poorly designed gas can we've ever seen with a poorly designed locking mechanism on the nozzle. Or it was defective. Two of us read the directions and couldn't make it pour. After trying for 45 minutes, we went back to the gas station and ask the employee to show us how it works. And if it doesn't work, we need to exchange it for one that works. She said she doesn't know how it works and she's not giving us an exchange. She told me to go around the store asking the customers in the store how it works!?! What?!? I took a different one off the shelf and was looking at it to see if it worked differently, and she yanked it out of my hand and said, "You can't have that!" I insisted on speaking to the manager, so she called the owner and put me on the phone. I explained the situation. After he made me repeat myself several times, purposely trying to exacerbate the situation, he finally said, "You expect my employee to know how it works?" Yes, it's a product you sell, and you took my money. Your employees should know how it works. I said, "Or give me a refund and I'll go to a gas station that can help me." He said, "I know how we will resolve this. We'll call the police." I said, "Are you serious? The police have murders and riots to deal with and you will call them over a gas can. I have a better idea. I will have my bank bounce the charge." The guy filling the gas station's tanks was able to figure it out, but it was so difficult that eventually the locking mechanism broke off and that was the only way it could pour. I will never buy an ounce of gas there again. How dare he threaten to call the police for a matter like this, instead of offering help in an already stressful situation where someone was stranded on the road!! He lost a customer over a gas can. Went in for a cup of coffee. Doubled my cup because the coffee was scalding hot. They made me take off the cup because they said the owner is awful. (The word they used is worse) It burned my hands carrying the coffees to the car. If you think I'm being over dramatic I'll provide pics of the coffee melting the cups it's so hot. So now I have coffee all over my car and burns. Also it's probably a health issue to put those cups back after my hands were all over them. read more

I was happy at first with how big of a selection they had. Got my husband and I a drink. I paid for it and then asked for the receipt because the total was not adding up. I was charged $3.29 for my drinks when the tag read $2.99. The guy who said he was the manager said he will not honor that price because only the owner can change the price. That is a load of crap. I have worked retail for 15 plus years, and you always honor the marked price. I returned the drinks and got something g else. The incorrect price tags were still up when I left. I will return tomorrow and see if those prices are still up, and if so, I will be calling corporate for this store intentionally being misleading and dishonest. read more

When I called to ask them to do something about it, they were nasty, told me," it happens sometimes and will reverse itself in 24 hours and hung up on me mid sentence". This AMPM store sits on the corner of an intersection like a bright, shining beacon of commerce. Seriously, you might be able to see it from space with how brightly it's lit up. Once you walk inside, you will find a veritable cornucopia of snacks and various other items people seem to suddenly need while either filling up their gas tank or picking up a cool, refreshing beverage. The entire place was clean and, of course, well lit so it was very easy to find all the stuff I could ever find or want. So much good stuff...or at least stuff. read more

This place has horrific customer service. I went in for a soda fountain drink. When I first entered the store I was overwhelmed with the scent of bathroom smelling cleaner. So right off the bat I had a poor impression of this location. I proceeded to fill up a cup and noticed it was not very "fizzy" when it poured out so I made sure to taste it before I put a lid on. ( previous times I've been and left after paying with flat soda pop) When I noticed it was flat I asked an employee what to do, he checked it...and told me to pour out the cup I just filled. He ran the soda until it sputtered & sprayed out what seemed to be carbonation. I then refilled the cup but when it poured the 2nd time it was still flat, no carbonation. at this point I asked if I should just try a different flavor or if it was the whole machine out of carbonation. The employee who previously helped shrugged & then a woman employee stepped in and started accusing me of wasting 2 drinks. I told her it was flat, she argued and said "no he fixed it." I then asked her if I should just try another flavor and she then accused me of it being fine, when clearly it was not carbonated. She kept saying I wasted 2 drinks already & I said I wasn't paying for a flat pop. She then said I could leave her store....Very very poor customer service. I left an empty cup on the counter and walked out. I was almost confused as to what just had happened. They made me feel like it wa my fault their machine was out of carbonation & that I should have paid for the 2 drinks I dumped out. I would have been happier with a response of "oh sorry..looks like we're out of carbonation, come back another time" unacceptable in my opinion. I don't remember what this place was before. I actually stopped here for Arco gas station. I didn't go into the store. All I was messing with their gas station. Man! I don't know what happened there, but my gas pumping machine refused to pump a gas ( #7) I messed with it for 5 minutes, then went to the next one. I got the gas there. While I was pulling out of station I noticed some truck owner was getting gas out of my first try machine. He seems didn't had any problems. The gas station is looking good and pretty new. It even gave me receipt! LOL I will try it again. read more

it is like they don't want customers. the cashiers do not like people. if i get a cup for a fountain drink and it turns out you are out of that flavor, i am not paying for the cup no matter how much profanity you use. and hello, bags are free with ebt. when you told the patron in front of me buying groceries he had to pay 30 cents for a bag you committed an actual crime. and telling me it is up to the owner not the state is just another example of why all the reviews for this business are negative. i wish the next owners better luck.0 read more

Worst gas station I've ever visited! I've gone to this one on only a couple occasions and each time there was something wrong. The first time I went I had to switch pumps twice because it just wasn't pumping the gas for me. The second time I went inside and the guy working the counter was on a personal call on his cell phone and only shook his head when I asked if they had any more Coke in the back (as it was really late and they were out in the fridge). I will make sure if I ever need to go to a gas station in the area again that I will find a different one! read more

On May 12,2012 stopped to fuel my car at 5pm in the evening. Backed out from the pump and the lot is so steeply graded that my exhaust header broke off from contact with the steep slope. Service clerks gave me a phony phone number to call the owner of Fifer support services LLC that own the station. BP corporate tells me to take it up with the owner.I go see someone either site manager or owner that would not identify which he was and he starts calling me Boss and that I should know what Protocol to follow and denies his stations lot is at fault. Will not give me the name of his insurance company so I can file a claim. Police came ,officer told me to take pictures and videos which i did as instructed. I will handle this matter either through my own insurance suing the owner or his LLC or take the matter to small claims court to the maximum amount allowed . If you need fuel and happen to be in Lynnwood ,Wa either pass by the ARCO AM PM station on 4806 196st sw or refrain from fueling up at the gas pumps and grab a coke before you drive away to find a station that is flat and level and won't rip the bottom of your car apart. As I was filling up my truck with a tank of gas, I went in the store and filled up a disposable water cup with water. I asked the attendant if there was a charge for the cup, apparently this is holy water because he said the water from the fountain is $1.74. I told him that was a rip off because a bottle of water was $0.99, which I grabbed instead and poured the holy water out. When ringing up the bottle of water he still tried charging me for the cup of water. I walked out of the store to get my wallet. He thought I was leaving without paying for his precious poured out fountain water, so he sent his friend out who said "Come back here white boy!" And then he got scared and started taking pictures of my license plate and called the cops after I told him to "get the f#*k away from my truck", and told the cops I was stealing "products" from their store and threatening them. I gave them the money for their poured out fountain water (I figured they need the money more than me if they have to have racist security gaurds threaten customers over tap water). Needless to say the cops realized they were idiots and did nothing. They also lied to the cops about giving them $2.00 and still said I didn't pay. I'm going back tomorrow for my $0.24 change!! read more
