Super cool tunnel wash option. A less busier option than the larger/cooler location east across I-5. Pretty neat with 3 solid options to choose from. Convenient location in a busy area with option to self-serve. I think I got the basic or medium one. For a light-medium soiled car like my early-gen small SUV (Subaru Forester), it did a great job. I especially like the softer bristles & slower spin (compared to most competition) which I think is perfectly adequate for loosening your every-day dust & grime AND in addition to less cabin noise and I think saves their energy bill. I do recommend all folding mirrors fold in to avoid accidental mirror damage (one of mine flipped forward); normally I do it or ask staff to do it but they forgot. during the drying area be ready to turn right in the narrow exit (stone wall against left corner). Finally found a car wash that allows you to bring a bucket and your tools - yay! I never understood why if I am paying for the time I am using the stall, I cannot bring a bucket and my own scrub. I understand if people just paid a couple of dollars to get a rinse, then took their time before paying again but Im happy to pay for the entire time I use the stall and I'm so glad this place understands that! Being from CA, there is a car wash option on almost every street and handwashing is pretty common without it being a "detail" job. I haven't been able to find a single place like that within reasonable distance here. So it's DIY for now. The water pressure here was great! Easy to obtain coins and the time allotted is quite reasonable. As long as they allow me to bring my bucket, I will keep coming here every few weeks. read more

Been using this car wash for 10 plus " years for the two family cars. It's been great except this First week of March2022. Either the lead car wash kid- maybe mid to late twenties-was the rudest ever. They missed so many spots, my back bumper looked like it still had a coat of chocolate powder but this kid -not considering I pay about 14bucks every 3 weeks X2 for my two cars- was insulting and unprofessional. Well they just lost my two cars, the 3 cars of my children as customers. I still have 2 punch cards almost full that I just tossed to the trash can. Brown bear is consistently better especially that along 99. Here we come brown bear. read more

Nice personnel but the reason for going there was for an exterior car cleaning . Terrible, not clean at all, and if you value the appearance of your vehicle, don't bring it here. This is one of those car washes that uses rotating brushes to wash your car. You are inviting scratches all over your vehicle. read more

Mr. Kleen is car wash perfection. I've been to car washes all over the world and I gotta say, for a basic wash (I'm not comparing to a detail shop) Mr. Kleen beats them all. They basically wash your car before it even goes into the wash tunnel. I've never left the place and thought, "hmmm.... they missed a spot there". Never. I've been to plenty, PLENTY of car washes where there is a fine film of dirty water left on the car after washing. Not so ever here. I usually get the Deluxe wash, though if my car is a grime bucket I'll get the The Works wash. Honestly, I've even gone for the Basic wash and have been happy with it. Another thing. I've never, ever, ever, had a scratch on my car from Mr. Kleen. They really are one of the best, no, this is not an exaggeration, best car washes in THE WORLD. I drove to Vegas from Seattle via Utah in a snow storm once... I don't recommend that BTW, and by the time I got there my white SUV was brown. I never found a car wash comparable to Mr. Kleen in Vegas. Sorry Vegas. No bueno on your car washes, I finally went to a "do it yourself" car wash to get the level of clean that I would normally get from Mr. Kleen. I don't even live in Lynnwood, but I go to Mr. Kleen because they're that good. read more

Oh, weird day. I paid for gas and and car wash. It happened to be that day their line for automatic wash was teproraly down. I asked girl there what should i do, she said I can come any time and get my wash done since I have already paid. Great. The station i used to get a gas, was kind of weird. It canceled my payment. I needed go in the store and tell them about problem. It was fixed in a second. huh? I came again for wash in about 3 days. I was afraid that there might be some complications since i was not paying this time. But no, All was fine. My car wash cost me only 4.00 that day. Sweet! read more

About a month ago I went through the car wash and pulled into a stall to vacuum my car. I noticed coolant on the ground and feared I had a hole in the radiator or cracked engine. It was a hot day and I needed to wait for the engine to cool down so that I could add my liquid to the radiator and assess my situation. Because it was near 90 that day I waited two 1/2 hours for the motor to cool down. Everyone of the staff at Mr Kleen were so helpful and kind, from the store clerks to the car was attendants. They asked periodically if I needed anything, let me know there was a store to get drinks and coolant, treated my dog and 10 yr old nephew with kindness and helped me with anything I needed to get back on the road. Thankfully the car was fine. I am so appreciative of the employees of Mr Kleen and will continue to use the services from here on out. Thank you to Kelly, April, Jeremiah, CJ, and Derek! read more

Rip-off Alert!! I used the self-serve car wash on 25 Oct using the credit card machine and it's a rip-off. There was no posting of how much the cost is other than a $2.50 minimum. I used the wash for approx 4 min 45 sec and hit the stop button. No receipt was provided. The next day I check my credit card and I was charged $10. read more

This review WAS going to get 5 stars however the attitude of one of the workers dropped it down to 3. Let me explain why... My husband's car has been basically sitting in the driveway for over a year with an occasional drive now and then since I drive him to work in my car. I'll admit, it was pretty gross. There was built-up pollen, dirt, and pine needles just caked on the car. I knew one run through the wash wouldn't do it so I wanted to get off as much as I could through the self-serve before giving it the real wash. This is where I encountered the attitude. There was the guy who took my money / soaper, another soaper, and a drying guy. The guy who took my money / soaper and drying guy - totally aces. The other soaper who was on the passenger side, you need to work on your people skills. As soon as I pulled up in my still wet car, he makes the comment, "I love it when they try to clean it". (Uh, dude, even though I'm in the car, I can HEAR you). Didn't hear the other guy respond. THEN he makes the comment, "ewwww!" (again, I can STILL hear you!) because yes, more pine needles, dirt, and pollen were coming out of places I didn't reach. They did a good job cleaning, so no complaints there, however I could've liked this place a lot better if not for the comments from the peanut gallery. It's a CAR WASH, of course you're going to get dirty cars. By the way, don't assume that people failed at washing their own cars, some of us are trying to make your job easier. i used to love this car wash. It was the only one with a brushless wash. When you you have a black car that is very important. i would always go out of my way to get the car cleaned. a few weeks ago i went and in the middle of the wash..BRUSHES! scrubbing my car, scratching the finish, it was horrifying with no way out. No way to avoid the possible damage! i looked around and not one sign was posted about the change. if a brushless car wash is important to you steer clear of this one! read more

I washed my brand new 2015 car here and when I got home to dry it off(less then a mile away) I noticed that it looked like my car had been keyed all over it. I literally have paint scratched off all over my vehicle. I will give that the staff way friendly but I am very disappointed that the care wash ruined my vehicle! When vacuuming it out the hose completely disconnected from the vacuum, they need to pay more attention to the quality of their equipment. read more

These people are awesome. I've been coming here for years and have never had a poor experience. The do it yourself car wash stations are always clean and well cared for. I usually go through the automatic wash and the boys are so sweet. The owner is a neat guy. He's a caring gentleman that helps these boys get a first job and even though he's a tough boss (it's a good thing because he's helping these boys succeed in life), he would do anything to help them. This is a family owned business and so I feel good about coming here. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I had a great conversation with Amanda today while paying for my car wash. WOW! Amanda, you are good stuff. Keep up the good work! You are an amazing woman! Was so nice to chat with ya. All in all. This is a place that's worth your patronage. The vacuums are the best around. They even have a steam cleaner. One more thing about the boys at the car wash. When it's raining, on 3 separate occasions, one of them have asked me if they can vacuum for me while I wait out of the rain! I've seen them help the older folks with the same. This is the varsity gas station by my house. Always stocked paper towels and windshield washer fluid to clean off the bugs you killed while driving. The store also makes awesome Jo Jo potatoes for under 2 bucks. 76 gas served here. Never tried the car wash so can comment on that! read more

Mr. Kleen was apparently out sick, 'cause my car was not kleen afterwards. It's one of those drive-through nitemares, where two uninterested dudes pretend to spray down your car just prior to going thru the psychadelic water and pretty light show. At the end, some stoner wipes down your car half-heartedly and I ended up driving my miserable (still dripping, and still dirty) SUV back home with it's tail between it's legs. read more

Really need to have a vacuum full service option. Pretty average otherwise. It was not busy when I was there and they could have spent some extra time drying since I gave them a tip. Based on average service, probably won't go back. Where is a good full service option when ya need one ?! read more
