I thought such magic was limited to Idaho, but recently discovered that such a place exists within our community! Road warrior travel center is located just off of Highway 97, on lateral a road, and is indeed a drive-through convenience/travel center! these sorts of places were particularly awesome when Covid restrictions were in place, but remain phenomenal. When you just completed a kiddo basketball game, everybody is thirsty, but you really don't want to have everybody get out of the car to run inside. It's effectively a warehouse with a garage door that you drive into, one of the workers grabs any and everything your little heart desires, and then they ring you up. It takes about a quarter of the time as going into a convenience store, especially with family, and the folks working there are super nice! We don't get down this direction all that often, but I can guarantee that each time we do, this place is going to be on the list of spots to stop. It's fast, convenient, and just plain awesome!

I thought I was golden. By about mile 30, I realized that I only had about 20 miles of gas left?!? So, I basically stressed for about 20-30miles. I drove as economical as I could. I was driving in the Never Never Land. I was in the middle of no where. The No Man's Land. Cloaked in dark and economy, I drove as fuel efficiently as I could. By the time I rolled past Moxee, I hid my moxie to save any bit of fuel I could. As my gas tank showed complete emptiness, there it was. The light of East Valley Market.
