What an incredible honor to have found AnnMarie and work with her. When the pandemic had me completely rethinking my career and also feeling incredibly unmotivated, I decided to seek out a business coach to help get me back on track. After interviewing with several and not really feeling like their services aligned with what I needed, someone suggested that what I really needed was a "life coach". "A life coach?!" I thought "that sounds so...fluffy". But after so many failed business coach attempts I decided to Google "life coach Seattle" and found AnnMarie. I was drawn to her experience as a therapist and a life coach and we set an appointment. I cried when we finished - she asked questions of me I hadn't ever considered before. That no other business coach or leader had asked of me. I knew immediately I would hire her, but what I didn't know then was what an incredible impact she would have on not only my life but my career. What I realized after we started working together was that the business coaches were so narrowly focused on just that - the business side of things. AnnMarie has helped me navigate my career - everything from working through whether to stay or to go (I chose to stay, and she helped me realize I actually could have both family and career - I just needed better time management), as well as how to navigate a job offer that came quickly on the heels of deciding to stay (which, I am convinced the job offer was largely due to the confidence I now felt after working with AnnMarie). All through this I have been so grateful to have someone by my side, expertly guiding me through these major life decisions all helping me do it with ease and confidence. She has also been an amazing advocate in my personal life. She's helped me improve communication with my husband and create a way to think about calendar blocking and time management that has improved my efficiency at work and as such, has given me more time with my family. I came across AnnMarie's coaching services through a Career Launch Program I was eligible for through my scholarship. I applied for this program because (1) I felt I needed help preparing a step-by-step guide to accomplish my goals while being held accountable, and (2) I wanted to see how much of an impact this would have on me. To my surprise, the lasting impact that these sessions had was more than I could have ever imagined! Only after the first session with AnnMarie did I realize just how much I needed a coach. AnnMarie has helped me push past my fear of uncertainty and feeling less than in my career and has helped me identify my strengths and what truly makes me unique. I should have written this review a long time ago. AnnMarie Stankovich is amazing. My husband and I regularly say, "Where has AnnMarie been all our lives!" I have seen almost a dozen counselors over the past ten years. Some helped, but none have impacted me the way AnnMarie has. The way she is. With her support and guidance I am becoming the person I want to be. Or, rather, letting the person I am come through to the world. She will listen to you, believe you, and care about your growth. She will push you to grow and be there when growing seems too hard. She has so many different tools to use, but allows her clients to steer the sessions. I have never felt pressured to do anything I haven't wanted to or felt ready to do. We have "deep" conversations and then light ones where she simply helps me think of what to say when I encounter an uncomfortable situation. For the first time, I feel confident talking to my family and asking for a raise at work. Every week I leave her office feeling stronger, calmer, and ready to take on the rest of the week. Also great is the fact that you can pay ahead of time online, text her if you are running late rather than call, she has evening hours, and her office is centrally located. She is professional yet easy to connect with. Two things I value. AnnMarie has changed my life drastically. Not everyone will connect with her the way I have, but I encourage you to at least try. My insurance doesn't even cover her yet I am willing to pay each week. She is that good! read more
