After speaking with Amscot's customer service line, the agent apologized for what happened and said there was no reason I should have been treated that way or made to feel like I was being "done a favor." Since then, I've visited this location twice and have not experienced any issues or rude interactions. All employees have been very accommodating, including the original employee involved. I went in to this location to cash a US Treasury check but they could not do it even though the check is still valid the date was past their policy allowance. Jenny went above and beyond and tried to get it resolved for me. She's very polite, friendly, knowledgeable, professional and definitely goes that extra mile. Being in the service industry for over 28 years of my life as a manager and bartender, I know amazing service and talent when I see it, Jenny is definitely a rare find in this day and age. Definitely not someone to pass up on an application. Amscot is very lucky to have her as an employee. Dear Angel "Manager of this Amscot in Hialeah FL location". Please have your corporate office train you and teach how to treat people in person and over the phone. Your arrogant manners and unprofessionalism will not get you anywhere. Also talking about your other Amscot managers in the nation about not doing their job says a lot about the type of incompetent individual you are! I have been doing business with Amscot for over 10 years and never had a disastrous person to talk to me the way he did today. Invest in a course about management or how to treat women. I went to pay off a loan never really had a big issue until tonight. The dumb employee was lost and I gave him my money and he comes to tell me they are doing check inventory or whatever wtf. Then why take my money and then he proceeds to tell me he can give me a receipt and not the check because they can't find it. I asked to speak with the "manager" from what I presume is the dumb ass Angel, I asked i want his signature on their in the case my check gets processed. When I arrive home to my surprise, neither of the dumb ass employees returned my license. They didn't even bother to call me to let me know they had it. I love mascot, but there is a great reason why I despise this specific store. The manager of the store asked me where I was employed, which is frankly none of his business. Anyway, after he did.... He had the nerves to tell me that he used to work for the same financial institution I worked for and told me that he quit because they didn't pay well. The manager angel wasn't helpful took all my personal information denied me for the loan and then said I can't give you back your information. Crooks and if I get any unsolicited offerings or anything funny happens with my social security number. I will sue the f**k out of them. read more

Terrible experience, they have no order at all. 4 customers were handle before me, when they got to the location after me. One representative "Jenny" was talking about the customers like they were idiots thinking no one heard her. Their was a huge line, I waited 35 minutes to get attened just to do money order! I rather pay a doller then to wait. Employes didn't even say hi! They never said which direction the line starts! HORRIBLE customer service!!!! How are these people even hired? They have no clue when it comes to financial issues. Listen to this, so I had my debit/bank card compromised. NOT MY BANK ACCOUNT. I explicitly explained this to the manager, I wrote myself a check because I needed to withdraw funds from my account. I have done this in the past with no problems. They called corporate to get an approval. I thought okay no problem. Apparently the manager at this Amscot has a listening comprehension issue because he told them my account was frozen!!! MY ACCOUNT IS NOT FROZEN! My card was compromised, the bank is issuing me a new one. I would have withdrawn funds directly from my bank but I have a credit union and they're not open on Sundays. This was an emergency and I was turned away because the manager said my account was frozen which I never said! I raised hell and called corporate, they made me call my bank to reiterate what I said about the card! After I called and the bank representative Explained this to them I was finally able to get some money! An hour later!!! Btw when I spoke to the manager at the location and I complained (I'm not going to lie I was pretty upset, I wasn't screaming at him but I was raising my voice just a tad, I was so upset with the incompetence) he started yelling at me that he doesn't have to take my attitude and this and that.
